I am getting a wrong answer to a line and I'm not having any luck in finding a solution.

Character Lvl 50 Cleric and duplicated on several LVL 85 with higher numbers.

In skill window
Abjuration 270/270
Alteration 270/270
Conjuration 270/270
Divination 270/270
Evocation 270/270
Specialize Abjuration 50/50
Specialize Alteration 230/230
Specialize Conjuration 50/50
Specialize Divination 50/50
Specialize Evocation 50/50

/echo ${Skill[Evocation].SkillCap} results in 270
/echo ${Skill[Specialize Evocation].SkillCap} results in 230
/echo ${Skill[Specialize Alteration].SkillCap} results in 230

The rest follow the same with regular capping at 270 and specialized capping at 230. But, the maximum for any of the secondary specializations is 50.

I'm using the cap in calculations and of course its throwing the calculations off and the decisions that go with them.

Is there a work around to this or another function that I am missing? I have searched the forums but SkillCap is not widely used. Is this the reason?

Thanks for any input anyone has.

Maybe some weirdness with the mq2 source code. Last patch messed up a lot of stuff. I let teh devs at mq2 know and they can check it out.

The patch was an addition for a new TLO that didn't exist that was added for us by request.

MQ2-20110419.zip

- added Me.SkillCap

Gratz dragonfire - dkaa after some bugging added a new TLO for us

/echo ${Me.SkillCap[Specialize Evocation]}
