Request for assistance in setting up a server

Ok guys and possible galz.
I'm going to attempt to make a big step and start a server. (sigh i know big yawn)
Anyhow. My intentions are to run the server on a PowerEdge 350 running Solaris 9
I hve gotten as far as installing MySql4
OK, now the fun part .
Where do i find the portable source for the server files. or even better a compatible binary.
and what all else do I need.
hmmm oh dont say scrub and reload with windows system . It just aint gonna do it capitain.
btw i saw a file on making the server run on a lan somewhere and cant locate it now.
also. it would be nice ifn yal could point out the files that make the server compatible with the out of the package Platinum edition

EQEMULATOR Read it, they also have SourceForge so you can find the Server Code you need it you doing a Backpatch, but don't ask about Back patching on their forums or it insta ban

LOL, Yah I found it everytin is dere i tink. got stuck on the compile. need to figure out which version of make they are referring to. (drool drips from chin to floor)
