Question - Removing waterfall mist

Is there any graphics setting or technique that can remove this waterfall mist?

/showgrass off might take care of it. I know that gets rid of the flora and fauna I don't like looking at.

correct me if you have allready tryed but cant you turn that off with enviromental effects in option tab ?
