Not trying to be a dork, that link has all the different methods for install but the .bat for Win install still inks to Akkadius Git in 2 places, in the Installer Resources and in the .bat itself under server installation guides (kinda buried). I have never done a Docker nor Linux method yet, so might be better options that way regardless. Hope it might help.

No one likes change but it is inevitable. I’m thankful it’s not just a complete shutdown. I personally moved to emu several years ago and couldn’t be happier. The content has been great and I no longer have to hide in the shadows bc I’m a MQ user.

• Are you planning to launch a new Emu server with RG?
• Will you create tutorials on how to connect to Emu servers?
• Are there any plans to distribute the files needed to set up a server? (As far as I know, they’re not currently obtainable, right?)
• Will you create a tutorial for setting up a personal server for private play?

I’d like to know your plans and overall vision.

I think there’s an extremely vocal, small group that scream about MQ that DBG wants the illusion of trying to please. The funny thing is that the same group will readily cheat when it benefits them; IE Zaide on his podcast condemning MQ but admitting to SEQ use. People will draw arbitrary lines about what is too far, but the fact of the matter is that the majority of people violate ToS/EULA in one way or another. The same people crying about MQ will gladly account share and RMT krono/services.

The biggest vocal majority I know are TLP players, and then RoI and SR on cazic server..the 2 "premier" raid guilds. DBG devs pretty much cater all content around those 2 guilds. Raid changes are made on their suggestions, they nerfed dragon glyph based on their suggestions, pretty much any shitty you see them do that innately hurts the average player, you can just about assume 98% of the time it was someone from those guilds.

However, I have seen in my experience some of the biggest MQ user haters, are MQ users themselves, who just want to eliminate their krono farm competition. Its a dog eat dog world out there! lol

It's time close this thread. I think everyone's complained and grieved, and after all that, our worst fears did not come true.

This thread's most asked question: will you still support live/test? Has been answered by the talented @Razzrr, @boxbuddy, @iluvseq, @blownt, @ncellular and @Sic: Yes. But it'll take more time after each patch, we're not at brainiac's level, so please be patient.

Also, nothing has changed from the original post. We are still going to prioritize emu. Please let us know what you'd like to see from RedGuides in regards to emu play here:

Anyone know how difficult it would be to join all of the emu servers into chats that you could join? Similar to joining other servers general chats on live?

Seems like you could make a discord that feeds all EMU channel chat into it. Not sure what sending it back would look like tho.
