Question - Reconsider Blocking Mounting for PetTank Role?

I see that this was brought up some time ago in another thread here, but I'd like to bring this back up for discussion.

PetTank role automatically disables mounting. I have my magician pet tanking in my group, and keeping them mounted helps considerably with mana management.

I noticed that in the other discussion the OP speaks to the ramp up/down of acceleration on movement, but - why? I could see this being an issue for PullerPetTank, but my mage is generally sitting in place casting and thus movement isn't really happening.

A few folks in Disc suggested I post this as a thread as it took us quite a while to figure out why I couldn't get my mount buff to work, until Knightly (or hytiek) figured out the role issue.

Ended up commenting out the "/varset MountOn 0", line 8345 for me.

As I mentioned in discord you could also work around this by using a condition instead of the mount flag

I think a nec or mage should use a mount when pet tanking. A bl should not, due to attacking the mob. Just my 2 cents.
