Question - Rebuffing everytime /mac kissassist

So everytime i /mac kissassist my guys will run down there buff list rebuffing no matter what. Spell could have 1h left on it and they will still rebuff it. Is this normal? can it be stopped?....it's extremely annoying.


actually, it appears to just be my shaman that rebuffs everything regardless.

If they are group buffs and someone in the group does not have then it will rebuff the entire group - could that be the issue? I see this sometimes when one member of the group got a better buff and they try reapplying the buffs to that group member - now that gets annoying, but all you have to do is remove the blocked buff and let the group buffs be applied.

It's something down to the new patch I think. Edit out all your items from the ini if those are what's causing the problem. However, some of my toons keep recasting their class buffs over and over since the patch. Sometimes just queue them, forget them, memorize another, forget it and back again. Not sure what's causing this.

1st make sure you have the newest compile (20150925):

Then check you buffs. many of the clickys (but not all) are now "shadow" buffs that do nothing, as the "buff" is now a perminate passive AA you get when you 1st click the item. (so don't need these unless you WANT to use the buff slot for a useless icon). may need to use the dual tag to keep it from spamcasting.

Buff1=ITEMNAME|Dual|NEWBUFFNAME

Also many of the AA's have changed buff names (added roman numerals) so if using a holy or a down to cast them, you may need to change the

${Me.Buff[BUFFNAME].ID}

section to match.

My ranger spell buff Roaring Weapons (no ranks) is one good example of a botched buff. The SK has some funny ideas too with a couple of spells (not items/AA:s). Keeps trying to recast all the time for no reason. This is definately something bigger than just misspelled INI's.

Ok, some more info. I play on the TLP, so the item/AA clicky changes are not an issue. This is all with classic era spells. For example, all my toons are fully buffed with fresh buffs. I do a /end, then /mac kissassist on my shaman, and he will begin to recast strength, dexterity, stamina etc. on all my melee. Same thing with cleric recasting resolution/symbol/shield of words. It's kinda a pita when I make small changes to the ini and want to test them and I have to restart kissassist and wait 5 mins for them to rebuff and med.

*edit. I have the newest compile, I just DLed MQ2 on 9/25 for the first time...Probably why I have so many questions the last couple days thanks again for all the help btw.
