this buffing issue is killing me....characters won't buff out of group anymore? am i missing something....even when i tag with |MA the char in group 2 will not buff MA in group 1....

Maskoi and I were working on some of these issues earlier, He should be updating the beta soonish, just start pestering him and see if you can get him to send you a copy.

Much better...running into something odd tho, and it was happening on 9.07 too....when i click off 'gift of pure thought' on my MA, it clicks it off on my enchanter as well...

also, anytime you have the |dual| tag in a spell it buffs everyone with it...regardless of any |MA/caster/melee at the end.
 
block the spell on your MA. It clicks it off the caster so they recast it.
 
|DualMA is the only tag other than dual. If it is a single cast spell yes it will cast it on everyone.

Yea the Dual tag was causing some problems with items, so we may need to take a closer look at the changes we made, keep the feedback coming.. you guys are a great help..

I'm on TLP, i can't block it. can only click it off

edit* and clicking it off in KA 8.55 didnt make my enchanter click his off.
 
FUCK TLP. I hate all those servers. It was kind of broken in 8.55 as well

sorry, called it a night after my post last night...trying this now..
should i add a "&& ${EverQuest.Server.NotEqual[lockjaw]}" since im on LJ? XD

edit* i went ahead and added the '&& ${EverQuest.Server.NotEqual[lockjaw]}' and all seems good now...
one other issue im running into, and i apologize if this is known and i'm beating a dead horse (only been back for a few weeks from a 7 month break), when i use |Melee it seems to act as |Me and |Melee....I use it on my enchanter to cast boon of garou when its off CD and half the time he hits himself with it lol.

WOW! Good catch on that ME/Melee bug. line 1469 needs to be changed from /if (${DPSText.Arg[3,|].Find[Me]} || too /if (${DPSText.Arg[3,|].Equal[Me]} ||. Just change the .Find too .Equal and you should be golden.

I did a search for .Find[Me] and that was the only other one...
 
There were a couple of other .find that should be Equa.l Fixed for next release
 
changed both lines...ench still wants to buff himself with boon of garou with |Melee after it....oddly enough, he doesnt (and never did before) buff himself with visions of grandeur with |Melee after it.
 
One thing I noticed as well is that my Cleric and Enchanter are casting group buffs essentially until OOM. Heroic Bond, Group Resist Magic, etc over and over.
 
Are you on tlp?

Are your toons on the same computer?

Are ALL your toons running KA?

Are you running KA off of RG's compile or the other guys?

I have a TON of buffing problems when I run KA off of their compile, it works much better when I run RG's. Not sure what 'causes the issue with the other compile but it just doesn't buff right.
 
I'm running RG's compile. I downloaded the beta version (9.081) but it still seems to be happening. Repeated group buffs being cast over and over and oh look! I'm out of mana!
 
Try rebooting your computer if you haven't yet. My cleric and chanter both cast group buffs and neither of them are displaying this behavior.
 
yea, im now having issues with casting casting group buffs individually on each group member again.
 
What Group Buff is being cast like single buff, You also have to consider, that the caster will continue to cast the group buff if someone in the group has NOT updated the Kissassist_Buffs.ini file showing they have the buff. Also keep in mind that this will also happen if your group members have buffs on them that are blocking your buffs.
 
naltron's mark was what was doing it for me most recently...
and now my enchanter is hasting everyone even tho |melee is at the end, and he wasnt doing it an hour ago...just all the sudden starts casting haste on casters..lol
