Just started using MQ2 a couple days ago. Hoping it can bring back the fun from EQ I am missing in my life. Was planning on a 6 box group. So everything is working fine, group is mowing through mobs with ease. After watching for a little bit it started to dawn on me that it really does not look right. So what I am asking is are there any common rules or anything that should not be used, most notable is stick. And I read that EQBC can be bad to use. Any tips or tricks to get by would be awesome.

Also, EQBC is FANTASTIC to use. It literally changed the way I use MQ2, play EQ, and allowed me to 6-box (up from 4-box). EQBC was only bad on progression servers (which is debatable, but the general idea is it brought too much scrutiny).

Definitely setup MQ2posse if you're going to AFK at all. I use the GTFO macro so my characters will try to go back to their camp later instead of just quitting out of the game. The last thing you want is to get all your accounts banned.

Anyone that knows can easily tell if your macroing a box group. The best advice I have is to stay away from other players, even other MQ2 users unless you actually know the person. EQBC is not in itself good or bad... It's the idiots using/abusing it that cause problems. I have been quietly using MQ crack for a long time, under the radar, with virtually no problems ever.

One account suspended 3 days for warping years ago, and 4 of 6 afk farming group suspended 3 days for afk botting several months ago, most likely because I was in a popular zone with my escape/avoid settings messed up. MQ2 is a risk, stay under the radar, play smart, don't brag or show off.... minimize the risk, enjoy your game.
