Hey all,

So, I have my ranger in my setup using kiss, and in the new dungeon I'm in, ranged is becoming too tight at times. So, my question is, can I setup in kiss a way to if not able to bow, the ranger will get in an melee? Obviously, no one wants to lose dps, but dropping 30k too my setup atm is pretty huge. Also, do I have to swap my kissassist mac to make this happen?

Or is this something I need to use mq2melee for?

I like using IHCMerc's for melee with my ranger. Works great for pulling, and running back to camp to melee them down.

I don't know if KISS will automatically switch without putting in conditions. I'm sure someone on here knows how if it's possible.

Thanks for the information, I'm still checking out the ihc. I spent a bit of time on my ranger ini, I'm really happy where it's at atm, but there's always room for improvement!

Odd, I will check my ini and see what's up. I just want to make sure long as there's distance to bow she's bow attack versus melee.

No worries, I found it, but it does say you change from melee to bow? But, you said yours will auto attack when too close? Trying to figure that part out. No worries on getting back too me asap, just when you got time. I appreciate it! Thanks!

It will try to use bow, but if you're too close, it'll melee. It doesn't go from melee to bow, though, once it starts meleeing.

Okay, I will get it a go, and see how it does! This one dungeon is just killing my deeps so lol! I appreciate the help and information.

There's some stuff in there that I need to change (for example, the spires were combined in ToV). But that will show you how I bow using the /command format in the dps section. If the mob is too close to bow, mq2melee and kissassist take over to melee.

Thanks! I will hopefully be able to test it later in the week, mid terms for me so been a little busy. I will post an update once I can. I really enjoy the ranger, so I'm looking forward too this!

I did change that, still isn't melee, but from Sum1 it looks like I need to change a few more things back in the ini, so I will do that, and post once I get some free time. I appreciate your help.
