Question - Range only attack

Is there a way to set a ranger to do Range only attacks? Sometimes my puller comes by and my ranger ends up running over and DPSing.

if the toon gets a message too close to do a range attack he will melee. move him back so he doesn't get that message and use ReturnToCamp=1 so he runs back to his spot affter melee

use ranged in kiss.. but turn melee off in mq2melee...
