Question - Questions regarding DPS=0 and Mez=1

I noticed that my enchanter does not like to mez unless I also have dps turned on. This requires at least one spell active in the dps section otherwise kissassist throws an error saying that it is enable but since there is no dps spell it is being disabled. This issue seems to come and go oddly enough, I feel there has been times where he will mez just fine with dps=0. The work around I have used it just to put some tash spell in the dps, but I am curious why this seems to happen.

This is odd, why wouldn't you want your chanter to do DPS?

Mez is not dependent on DPS. So your mezzer should still be mezzing, But I agree why wouldn't you DPS with your enchanter?
