Question - Question about Phinny/Rage/Lock Servers.....

Does it work as if it was the days of ole? Or do they implement all patches/fixes/nerfs?

Main example I am wondering about is when Velious comes out....does this mean we can get a BFG? Or will it already be nerfed and not exist?

To my understanding, you get all the "modern conveniences" that are not nessisarily attributed to a specific expiation. (i.e TLP don't have naked CR's..you get your gear with you when you arrive at your bind point).
Which should mean that this will be an item that is unable to be attained.

ALL the current EQ is in the TLP, it is the SAME as the CURRENT LIVE servers, but the expansion packs are disabled. Kinda like when you did not buy Cotf you could not zone into West Karana. There is really no classic EQ like you get with 99. It is just they have disabled expacs! I would not play if I had to run everywhere. I live in POK and you all know there is no pok in TLP right... Seriously just go on any live server and make a level 1 toon and control yourself, play like its 1999!

That won't likely show up on the TLP, however the pre-nerf guise of the deceiver apparently does, theoretically there will be a sleepers event, not sure if other things like Sceptre of Destruction, Circlet of Shadow, or etc. will or won't be in...

Pre-nerf CoS and Fungi stick ect exist on TLP
- All those toys you wanted back then but were to new or unlucky to not be able to get. Like the alliance clicker that will drop from Councelors in Thurgadin. MMMMM

Pre-nerf Guise is gone on Ragefire but is available on Phinny

Before and after versions still exist in the live database so its up to the Devs which ones they implement.

Well, yes and no.

No modern stuff drops (No Defiant Armor). More or less no features which came with later xpacs like fast regen, klick from inside bags, xtarget window and all the other stuff dont exist also.
Several things they cant really patch out it seems (naked cr, old spelllines). But several spells from current EQ which got added later dont exist also on TLP. (But some do, they did weird things there). No mounts either

And, Razkle, i said it allready, it's not the same if you create an lv 1 char on an live server. it's TOTAL different.
