Question - Pulling with Advpath/MQ2 nav? Having issues

So I'm able to record a path and /play that path with advpath and it all runs fine.

when I /kissassist path zonename it gets stuck in a loop of
[Mq2] looking for close range mobs
[mq2] PULLING-> Npc <- ID:numbers at #offeet
CastRadius is now set to:15

This repeats over and over again. The first target is in LoS and my puller won't move towards it. All the pull settings in the Ini are correct as when I run this without the pathname it pulls LoS targets fine.

I'm not familiar with MQ2nav at all, or how it correlates to this new advpath feature, but I have managed to load the mesh for my zone, and it's confirmed as loaded in my MQ2 window.

I have no idea where to go from here. Do i need to do something with recording waypoints?

update:
Do I not need to use advpath at all? I just loaded up kiss on my puller and he seems to be nav pulling around corners automatically now, without specifying a path.
This is pretty epic.

You only need one or the other MQ2AdvPath or MQ2Nav. If you provide the Path Parameter and the pathname exists in the pathing file, Kiss will try and use AdvPath. If you have created a Mesh file for the zone and have MQ2Nav loaded Kiss will use /nav for pulling. Otherwise kiss pulls LOS.

If you are pulling with melee it will set it to 15 and never pull anything as a workaround (until that's fixed) you can use throw stone or a spell...

Thanks both of you.

Mq2nav is working great atm.

As for advpath I was using a melee and pulling with melee so that was it I'm sure.

so if i load up mq2nav, and build a mesh for the zone, my puller will go use that mesh without setting any waypoints etc? new to the whole mq2nav and advpath for that matter.

very awesome....any tips for getting it to work better in tight zones with lots of tunnels? having issues with my guy trying to target mobs far way when there are closer ones

A trick I use to help with tight corners, when building the mesh change the Radius in the Agent settings. I bump mine up some, what this will do is increase the area around items keeping away from then a bit more. Be careful with this in really tight places, you can completely close down a small cave/tunnel doing this.

As far as the spawn issue, that's an EQ thing and how they refresh the spawns information. The macro selects the closest mobs and works out from there. If it selects a mob farther out that other mobs, then EQ is returning that mobs location incorrectly causing the macro to think it is closer than it actually is. Normally after clearing all the mobs for the first time, the spawn records get updated properly.

what about the pull settings in KA ini? do you need to lower the numbers in there (specifially Z axis?) i was having issues with my MA targeting mobs on different floors that were technically closer ..maybe..lol

Yea, if you are pulling in a zone with multiple levels, you need to adjust your zradius accordingly. I think the default is 25 or 50. set it closer to 20 or 15. you may have to play with it a bit to keep it from trying to pull the mobs on the other floors.
