Bug - Pulling not working when corpse is nearby

As you know, EQ still shows your own corpse for a while after you've been rezzed. It has been this way for a while, but starting in 10.1.4 this is causing my puller to stop working after he dies and has been rezzed. This is what happens:

1. Puller dies and gets rezzed
2. Puller meds up and resumes pulling
3. He gives the message "Hey I found my corpse. Running back to camp for a rez."
4. He tries to drag the corpse but gets an error from EQ saying that he does not have permission to summon it (this is because the corpse has already been rezzed)
5. He gives the message "Looking for close range mobs"
6. He will target a mob and say that he is pulling it, but he does not do anything

At this point he loops through steps 3-6. He tries to drag the corpse but can't, targets a mob but doesn't pull, tries to summon the corpse again, etc.

I haven't been able to find a workaround. If you try to loot the corpse it says that it is already being looted. The only solution is move somewhere else or wait for the corpse to disappear.

I think this is new to 10.1.4. I've had this same scenario before (a corpse in camp after I was rezzed) but it's never caused a problem pulling.
 
ive noticed this since last patch also. its annoying and ive got tells about a corpse ive left. if i log out it it seems to clear it but im not sure if the others can still see it
 
In that case it might have been EQ and not KissAssist. Maybe KA just needs to try summoning the corpse once and then ignore it if dragging it fails? That could work.
 
Yea, this was added as a feature to drag your corpse back to camp when you were killed away from camp. The corpse bug is an EQ thing, but if you don't want this feature just go find the /call GrabCorpse lines and just rem them out.

Change any of the:

/call GrabCorpse

to

|/call GrabCorpse

And it will ignore all your corpses, the real ones and the ghost ones.

Thanks! I'll use that as a workaround. I like the feature, but it looks like EQ needs to fix the bug before it can be really useful.
