Question - Puller getting snared / snared before pulling

Wondering if anyone here has a suggestion for dealing with a snared puller. I really have encountered it in 2 different situations.

For reference I am using the latest KA with an 100 sk with about 8000aa as a puller tank. I am pulling with Terror of Poira.

First situation is the the puller goes out and pulls and target snares him when he is out of camp. I was trying to think if there is a way to have him detect that he is snared and perhaps do a Feign Death or something along those lines, but not sure how I would automate resuming pulling once the snare wears off.

Second situation seems like it should be easier to handle, but I am still fairly new to MQ2 / KA. Same puller and facts as above, except that he is snared while fighting the previous mob in camp. Puller then proceeds to amble out looking for next target at snared speed, guaranteeing a certain death if he finds one before the snare effect wears off. Again I am thinking, is there a way to check for the snare and say "Wait, don't pull" until the effect clears.

I'm confused as to how your own SK is getting snared when using Terror of Poira (Target Type: Single) spell.

Its not an AOE spell.. so if you have the NPC target targetted while you cast pull with "Terror of Poira" .. then HOW are you getting snared?
 
The NPC is a caster casting snare on me before i get out of range, or occasionally i pick up an add that does when running back to the camp.

The specific spell that seems to cause problems when cast on the puller is Viscous Darkness
 
Get higher magic resistance or pick a different camp.

Currently kiss doesn't look for debuffs when pulling. We will discuss it see if it needs to be implemented.
 
Underdog might be on to something, if I manually activate hate step when he is walking back it does indeed solve the problem because I am camped against a wall.

Is there an object that tells me if I am in camp radius or not?

Thinking out loud I could do something like, If I am not in camp radius and I am moving and my health is below say 80% activate hate step. Alternatively I could probably use agro detection, but I am trying to make sure the puller is indeed turned and headed back the right way.

Of course I think this only works if you have your group backed against a wall.
