Question - Problems with loot

So I was wondering why my one toon wont loot any corpses, which has all the big bags and plenty of room to loot, then my second toon with hardly any room to loot is able to loot?

I have my looton=1 then I have the loot /varset MobsTooClose 15, but it only loots on ether a certain toon or one toon half the time.

Yea I just checked and in the loot file it does say MobsTooClose=15 but my one toon won't loot while the other does. Just sucks the one that wont loot is the one I spent the SC to get big bags. But, what I have noticed on the toon that doesn't loot, I open the inventory and it just closes the inventory screen real fast.

errr nothing in kiss can close inventory. I would log that toon out and then back in, see if that works

I have tried that, still does not want to work. I will keep trying solutions I can not give up on it when I have that much SC spent on big bags on that toon haha.

Is it something with the big bags? Maybe try a couple regular bags. is your inventory window still closing as soon as you open it? Does it close without kiss running?

My inventory is only closing while kiss is running, and I have tried other bags now still wont loot.

i use the 36 slot bags fine. wonder if he copyed the MQUI_BagWnd.xml to the right place.

The compile really doesn't need mq2bagwinodw anymore but should still run fine with it. I will check ninjadvloot to see if it could be causing a problem.

You may want to back up your loot.ini then delete and restart kiss to force a it to create a new one to see if that works.

Yea it was working fine last week, then something happened and it stopped working, I will try not using mq2bagwindow. And I just tried deleting the loot.ini and have the updater make a new one, still nothing.

Just turned off mq2bagwindow, then shut down mq2 and logged out and logged off the game completely. Went back in started up, same problem inventory window still closes and no looting. Maybe it is just hating on my mage it likes the ranger and monk and lets them loot just fine haha.

Yes I do... Also Have been noticing it is hit or miss on loot he is looting half the time, been watching for the last 2 hours and he randomly starts looting out of no where then will stop... then starts 30 mins later.

Turn pet toys off and if your loot.ini has CombatLooting=0 in it change it to =1 see if that works

I turned off the pet toys, it did stop the inventory from closing. I set combat looting on and it still does not loot on my mage

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a character only loots when it's full mana and out of combat. If your toon has a bunch of mana, it may take a long time for him to med up.

Did not know about the full mana part.. makes sense as to why he stopped looted, started using DPS on him... ill try just using my Pet and see how that goes.

It did not make a differance had 100 mana and jus tstood there for 5 mins staring at the corpses....... does it have anything to do with my merc or something strange like that?

combatlooting would have fixed that anyway. Hrm, I dunno. Might be - perhaps a combo of merc + pet? My characters loot fine with merc up.

Yea, not sure if it is a coincidence or not but I turned my peton=0 and turned off pet buffs and toys and restarted the kiss now he is looting. He will not stop looting ether inless /hidecorpse looted is going and wont loot no drop items, funny but atleast he is looting again. Also turned my mercon=1 dont know if that had anything to do it, will find out soon.


Just found out. I turned peton=1 with mercon=1 and he is looting

you need to set the items to keep/sell/ignore or destroy. ninjadvloot automatically sets nodrop to ignore so you don't scarf all the loot if in group. You should destroy anything you don't want. Giant piles of corpses is kind of a giveaway for afking.

Yes sir, I have been working on that ever since I lost my old loot file when I forgot to back it up before replacing it haha.
