Problem - Problems logging in or zoning?

So, not sure this is an MQ thing, EQ thing, or me thing, but for the last couple of days, I have been having issues when logging in and/or zoning.

Problem 1) When logging in the group with MQ2AutoLogin one of the characters never gets into the game. When I go to check on that window, it is at the EQ Launcher, which gives me a bit of concern because I don't use the launcher and don't like it there when MQ is running. Happened just 5 minutes ago when logging in my primary 6 toons. The second set of 6 new FTP toons logged in without issue.

Problem 2) Every time I zone, with either group, one or sometimes two sessions crashes - zoning never completes and "Not responding" for that session in task manager. Have to kill the task and relaunch it. This happened a couple of minutes ago on the FTP group on their first zone change.

Both problems started only a couple of days ago, and I have rebooted computer a couple of times. No crash logs to send, since no in-game crashing.

Anyone else encountering anything like this or have any ideas?

you're not trying to use mq on truebox servers are you? (if so, MQ is not supported and doesn't work for truebox)

by "eq launcher" do you mean the actual launchpad? because autologin doesn't use the launchpad

Nope. Live server. And yes, the actual EQ launcher. It doesnt normally come up, but it seems like when Problem 1 happens there is a failure on the main login screen, and eventually something ends up running the launcher, 'cuz it certainly isn't me, and it freaked me out the first time it happened.

eqgame doesn't launch the launcher...sounds like you have launchpad in one of your configs instead of eqgame.

I would buy that if I had not been logging into the game successfully for many months without this ever happening. This does not happen on every login, and not on the same character each time. Happened twice in the last couple days, on two different accounts.

Not using ISBoxer (not since 64 bit), and as far as I know there is no setting in an MQ2AutoLogin profile to select launchpad vs eqgame. Just the EQ path, which is the same for all entries in the profiles. Here is the redacted mq2autologin.ini:
Code:
[Profiles]
DefaultEQPath=c:\users\public\daybreak game company\installed games\everquest
NumProfiles=3
Profile1=luclin
Profile2=mains
Profile3=ftp1
[Settings]
NotifyOnServerUP=0
UseMQ2Login=1
[mains]
EQPath=c:\users\public\daybreak game company\installed games\everquest

The only odd thing I see (and I will probably hand-fix) is it says there are 3 profiles, but only 2 in the INI. I never edited this file before, so not sure how that happened through the profile edit screens. But it has been this way since I stopped using ISBoxer I believe.

It is sounding like this might somehow be an EQ thing rather than an MQ thing. Just really weird that launchpad would ever show up.
