PriceOfKnowledge - Instance flipper for XP in SoD using 1 instance.

WIP!

Tank is assumed to be SHD, PAL, WAR with CWTN at the moment.

Stand close to Jaled Dar in Seeds of Destruction in Field of Bone.
Execute /lua run PriceOfKnowledge from your tank/driver.

Ensure all members are in a fellowship and have their insignias.
Ensure all members have the bone mask to avoid death during travel.
Ensure driver pull ranges are large. I used 2000 radius, 1000 zhigh, and 1000 zlow on MQ2Paladin to test first few runs with 50 minutes and did not finish the sphere...

Still trying to get github integration working. Can grab latest from main in github if want the leaving the instance to work.
 
It is in a spot where I've let it run until the Campfire expired. Got about 4 runs in each 1 hour long without manual intervention.

My todos for tomorrow:
1. Handle campfire resetting. Currently it makes one but doesn't remove it to make another. Each new instance creates a new campfire.
2. Handle campfire missing if time to leave zone. Taskquit and wait, nav to jaled with mask on.
3. Maybe handle group total wipe by fellowship and return to instance to res and continue.

Update for anyone using this. Editing the mesh to entirely avoid the pit area has worked best for me. Just put a not walkable area just behind the named spawn and it will kill to the maybe named, then circle back to library until timer runs out.

If you are geared it won't matter, but the pit was killing me with either line of sight issues, or chars falling off ledges.

Here is what it looks like to make the fights a bit safer if you need it:

To minimize falling off ledges and line of sight issues: Set chase distance very close (30 or less), and set stick distance for melee DPS at 25-35%, they can still go behind or have !front. Have your tank pull with a ranged attack (throw stone or a spell for pal/sk) and you'll have less fights occurring on ledges in general. For the rare remaining cases of someone falling off a ledge, they won't get any agro as long as iksar mask is up and can just run peacefully back up to your group. Pathing is more reliable with 1 level of shrink and levitate on everyone.

Care to share what those edits were by chance? I'd like to give this a shot

The changes I made are specific to the way I use KA with luachase, and I haven't incorporated the updates from 12/6. I'll still attach the file, but it might be better if you just go through the most updated version from bytebite and replace the /boxr commands with your KA stuff as needed.

what’s the XP like for the script? How many AA do you get per run?
 
I'm probably just going to leave this resource as it is right now without any more updates unless something breaks. I've had it running a very long time without issue and am pleased with the current state. This should get us to Grind being available for Underfoot I hope.

Appreciate the help ill look at it this weekend, i don't do much coding in Lua so this will be a good training exercise for me

can you post the mesh you made for the zone?
 
Sure. I rolled my mesh back and only made a single edit of adding a non walkable area to not go into the pit area. You guys with geared crews will kill everything on the west side long before timer is really up but easy to recycle.

In the future though I'd really suggest figuring out how to edit meshes or just even add volumes. You don't have to rebuild the mesh to do this. It's like 6 clicks to add a volume to avoid or don't go through.

Hey Bytebite, If you decided to update again, can you change the dgze dgza current zone commands to be current group commands? Finally got to the point to be able to run this and my second group started running for the zone-in.
