i duno wat wrong i download new cmpile and when i click on mq2.exe it says not authorite for my computer need mq2auth. where do i get those?

Those are sold seperately, kinda like batteries are sold seperate from electrical appliances

I forgot to do the NoAuth portion of the precompile. It should be fixed with 20061214_01

The iteminfo, among other structs, has changed, so be prepared for problems.

Not sure if it matters as the servers are still locked but when I run the patcher and load eq i get "incorrect client version" msg, just lettin you know

I can post what I used for this compile, but it will change when I get home. All of my source was at home(and I'm at work), so I had to grab it from my last compile and the MQ2 site.

That's one of the reasons the NoAuth and date/time check was wrong.

I'm pulling #if (!__ClientOverride) out of mq2main.cpp.

That should remove the Incorrect Client Version message. 20061214_02 will have this compiled in

Start with just the basic plugins and see if you still CTD. Otherwise, we'll have to wait for MQ2 to update the source.

new compile make eqcrash when you try to connect the server. i did try to log with out the mq and it work. then try to load wq it say eqgame encounter the problem need to shut down.

I pulled the source off. I'll look at it when I get home but I suspect thez was correct in stating that the structures have changed.

Guess we'll need to wait for MacroQuest2 to update their source.
