A TLP without truebox has thawed (Very Vanilla ready)
Hi guys I'm looking for any updated/quick ways to level a couple of chars from 1 to 75, I have a cleric and druid (105) as well as several other chars available to assist in the powerleveling.
Personally, I just used a mage for some DS powerleveling in Hatching a Plan this past week. It took me about 10 minutes to grab an instance, run through it and zone my guys out. I thought the zone scaled just fine as my guys leveled. I did it all manually and I'm sure I'm not the most efficient, but there are macros to automate it here on the forums.
I hate dealing with the constant zoning with using Hatching a Plan.
I prefer to use the following PL path:
- crescent reach (make sure your toons start there)
- blightfire moors
- dranik scar
- Walls of Slaughter
Alternatively, I'll just get them up to lvl 55 or 57 or so and then group them up with a lvl 85 heroic pally who slaughters shit afk in dragonscale hills until they hit 75 and can get into groups with my 105s. Search Razkle's PL thread to find the bit about DSH and the heroic pally PL method.
Lvl1-10 DS plvl crescent reach
10-30 sol a
30-40ish sol b
40ish-60ish velks lab
60-70 wall of slaughter
70+ grounds. I have a lvl 100 SK that joins the group and levels the group to 75. Then I get the toon that sat out to 75. While the other 5 are leveling they are sharing fellowship xp.
Once they are 75 I use my main 105 SK to plvl with swarming + eok spell and heal spam.
The plvl crew that goes with the new team until grounds is an enchanter/bard/2druids/SK/6th slot is either a mage or cleric.
The crew for grounds plus outside the group is 2 clerics 2 druids and a bard. They just spam heals in the main SK to trigger his aoe taps.
Also once I get to team to the level I want I either set them up to exp on their own or rotate them in groups of 2-3 with 3-4 105s who just grind exp for them.
There are a few versions in the thread as people updated it for their situation. If you make a NavMesh for the instance, the later versions work very well. Just make sure the small PoK bank isn't too busy as you'll be spamming a lot of instance text right behind it. If the area was crowded, I disabled the /loop function when I was trying it out.
