I want to add a beastlord to my 2nd team, however all the tricks to get him into the 80s have been nerfed to oblivion, so I guess its down to standard power levelling. Looking at the beastie spell list, I did not see a single AOE. Any tips on making this a little less sucky? Right now im down to mage DS and temperance to kill reds, but thats really not much fun, im looking for something to speed things up. I have a crew of 90s and a crew of 105s to help things along if they can.

Do yourself a favor and don't make an iksar. I made an iksar BST (loaded him with rotting TBM gear, so he was already 75% geared at lvl 1), and put a lvl 1 dwarf cleric and lvl 1 wood elf bard in a group together to PL. After the first 2 or 3 pulls, the bard and cleric were level 12 and the beastlord was level 3. Yes, level 3. Because of the level spread the level 3 wouldn't get exp anymore once those other guys went above 10.
I recommend a barbarian beastlord or kitty beastlord if you're going to PL with a bard (which IS really super awesome, by the way). Alternatively, I made an iksar Monk (get's Throw Stone ability) and grouped him with the beastlord for the purposes of PL'ing. I used the PL macro (old hitallmobs mac) to tag trains. It takes much longer per pull because the refresh on Throw Stone sucks, but you can kill much higher level mobs than if you were trying to stay within level range for bard songs to hit. The key for PL'ing iksars seems to be kill mobs MUCH higher level than you are.
