Plvling Zones lvl 1-70 (BARD MACRO)+(PLVLING)

Hey dark, can you do me a favour and log your deaths?

Also, are you running the NoStun offset? It sounds like a respawn is bashing you and stunning you long enough for the named to kill you. Can you also grep the log to make sure you aren't getting summoned?

I have an updated macro that 100% gauruntees you will never get summoned. I have it running right now, but as soon as it's done I will post it. I can last the entire six hours about 70% of the time now. Sometimes the pathing is bad and you die. If you like I can post all of my hotkeys that include the warp pos, the circle radius and the direction I face.

Edit: Here is the macro I am using to handle the targeting.

Selos is in slot one, the dots are 2-5 and marr is 6.

Hey Ham, regarding the 'vassal camp' loc you gave. Are you zonin in and warping to -933 805, turning to the NE and typing /circle 70?
I ran to -933 805, took some time cause mobs path through - see invis of course.
I didnt understand the -907 723 in your circle command. When I typed circle on 70 -907 723 I just ran straight. Thx for your help.

Something is going wrong.

I have 7.1k hp unbuffed. I'm level 70. I have 1.8string mod from rizlona's.

I use siddins part of the target macro so that it succors me whenever I get below 20%. My twist is #1-chorus of marr, #2-dot, #3-dot, #4-dot, #5-dot, #6- selo's. After I get about 2 aa's, the creque is spawning and i'm getting beat down below 20% where I end up checking later to see I'm sitting at the zone in running into a wall cause it succored.

I've heard all these success stories, but I've yet to see it come true. I do not have an uber string mod, but I'd like to think that my high hp would make up for it. I am not attacking the creque because I've checked the logs and I never got summoned, not to mention when I come back I am still targetted on the last mob I was chanting down.

I tried this 2 consecutive times and the same thing happened both times. The creque spawns and I get hit by a non-creque mob then the creque proceeds to beat me down until the macro succors. Happened the exact same way both times.
are you getting stunned by that mob? if so you need to get the nostun plugin or use the docrack offset.

I have the updated version on nostun here, however i do not have the nosummon updated version, if anyone has that please let me know.

I had nostun on.

I never saw summoned in any of my text, but ever since I've been using that macro you posted I haven't died.

Done 2 straight 6 hour vxed's with no deaths.

Thanks a bunch, I guess I was getting summoned. /shrug

Whaa?
You mean getting stunned right? :p

Btw, where did you guys go for lvl 52+ or so, I need to change the Dulak for lower level kiting there, its a bit too slow.
Thanks in advanced!

Was talkin to siddin, infernal.

UPDATE: I let the vxed go overnight, and using the same macro I somehow aggro'd a stonemite. I looked in the text and never saw anything about being summoned but I know I aggro'd the stonemite because I was hit by him a few times and had some spell/proc casted on me. I ended up dying because of too many melee hits from the stonemite and misguided creque.

I've yet to load a vxed instance with a stonemite near the gate to the beludu's. Does he roam there, or whats the deal?

It's apparent the stonemite can still be aggro'd with that macro..if only I could figure out why. I'm at school now, so I'll look through my logs later to see what I can find out.

Looked back through my log and yep, I targeted and stayed on the stonemite. It has the exact same name "A venomous stonemite" as the one in the macro, but I still targeted and tried to chant it down.

The only difference was that in the macro instead of "A" it had "a". Would that make a difference?

Seems if this can be fixed then I'll be in good shape.

Thanks for any help.

is it possible to add to the target mac a
/do not target list?
This would be cool, very useful at what your talking about as long as you never get close enough to that mob.
Btw i dont know if it would be case-sensitive so that might be tricky for the "a" and "A"

yes, that is very probably, if at all possible use caps exactly as in game.

Yes I can add a special section for the stonemite. I've never aggrod one so I didn't add it to the super check.

Basically I added a section where everytime you get exp you stop twisting, check the NPC name and then start up again. That prevents the chant landing before the check that was happening before. To add the stonemite just throw this right under the other named check in the GetExp sub:
Rich (BB code):
/IF (${Target.Name.Equal[a venomous stonemite]}) {
/target NPC next
/delay 30
}

Huge request can someon make a macro that keeps a toon invis all the time and meds while invis

plan for this is to have toon stay invis around while bard macro's

Pretty sure I nailed the perfect circle in Jagged pine, loc -690 -1331 -27, Circle radius of 35, sounds small but I'm singin songs and they are roasting like weenies round the camp fire. just thought I would relay the message. ohh and I would suggest South karana for 20 to 39. level of detection is basically non-existent. the succor is completely safe and if you circle one of the split paw spires you are good at a radius of 60. you don't even need to worry about the cyclops skele cause if you don't target him for a while he gets bored and leaves. GL and thanks for the awesome posts

remember radius is only 1/2 the diameter of a circle, so really you're running around a 70 unit circle....

Having some trouble here, I am 55 and doing Nadox w/ Innate Runspeed 3. However i seem to die and then ofcourse WinEQ will turn off, so i was wondering if anyone knows a better place in Nadox besides Safe Stop by the campfire. Also, if anyone knows a better place in general rather than nadox for lvl 55-62 and where in that zone.
Thanks in advanced!

FYI, if you are kiting at the undead vassal area in POV, do not kite too close to the 'An Undead Doorman' - he summons :(

Yea found that the hard way once again lol, but however i did find a new place in nadox that is imo really good and very low player detection. Updating post right now...

So we should stop for AA grind at lvl 62 in HoH correct? Should we stay here for MAX AA or how many should we go for? Btw do you guys know any good places in HoH w/low level of detection for kiting?

HoH isn't bad if it's underpopulated. However I would make sure you have a player check running.

Vxed is going to be your best bet. If you can park a cleric outside to rez you when you die the exp will be the best you have ever had. You will clear 150AAs per week easily.

I leave it running when I go to work in the morning, and at night when I go to sleep. I average 100AAs per week just doing this. I have so many AA's now that I've run out of things to buy. Another week or two and I will have every AA ability you can buy.

At what lvl do you suggest goin to Vxed? My bard is a twink, so gear isnt great.
At lvl 61 he has 3250hp unbuffed, 1150ac.
Should I spend some time in HoH gettin aa's before attempting Vxed? Also dont we need the no-summon to be workin to go to Vxed?

im looking for a better place than Nadox at lvl 55. i can easily find places in PoNightmare but the xp is dreadfully slow, even for afk. Nadox is the same. Dulak / pon / nadox are all crazy slow xp imo. and im having difficulties with the docrack to load the .ini (dunno what im doing wrong, and got impatient and dropped it. i can get the plugin to load, but racked with the offset / .ini stuff)

(for those that choose to do Nadox at that level, there is a song you can purchase for under or at 41 points in an ldon that gives you increase speed indoors, and that seemed plenty fast enuff to lvl bard indoors)

Just need: 3/3 Innate Runspeed for indoors and i find that good enough, then i twist 4 dmg songs and heal. if you check on the lists under nadox i put in a new place to macro, im macroning there as we speak. Yes exp is not great, but this is the best place within Nadox that i have found yet. Let me know if you find a better place though... anyone... :)

Updated list:
Added PoValor for levels 55+
Experience looks good so far, definatly a keeper :)
(Thanks siddin.)

Racecar,

Hey can you post what loc you start your circle at, and which direction, and how big? I have been doing HoH for my 66 bard and 65 cleric, aa is good, but would like to get better, plus I got a 67 pally, and aa exp sucks the butt there. Also the mac that you made, does it work just like the target mac? Where I open notepad, copy and paste what you have and then save it as what? Thanks for the help.

Here is the details for my Vxed macro:
My Vxed starting loc is 125, -300, 447
The circle radius is 73
Facing East

So basically I have 4 hotkeys:
1. /warp loc 125,-300,447
2. /circle on 73
3. /macro vxed
4. /circle off

Make sure you are heading DEAD east. Even a degree or two can make a big difference. My macro just barely reaches the torches in the ghost room, this gives me more wiggle room and you never get a stonemite. Also, be sure to type /twist adjust 3. You only have to do it once, it will remember the setting. What this does is force selos to refresh 18 seconds early. This prevents the selos landing just as it fades bug.

It is also an excellent idea to have Run5. The nostun offset is also required (remember you have to re-set this offset every time you log in).

So here is the rundown of what I do. I face dead east, make sure selos is up, cast Kazuimi's (Divine Aura), press 1 (warps to loc), press 2 (starts the circle), press numlock (starts running the circle), press 3 (starts the targeting macro) then type /twist 1 2 3 4 5 6.

It should be noted that my first spell gem is selos followed by 4 dots and Marr. You will need the same setup, or you will have to change my macro.

As to what the macro does. All it is, is a slightly modified target.mac (you can even call it that if you want) that stops twisting when you get exp then starts up again when you aquire a valid (non summoning) target. This is to prevent your dot landing just as you are about to switch and getting summoned.

If you have any questions I'll be glad to help. The number of unbuffed HPs you have makes a huge difference. At 4k unbuffed you have about a 50% chance of lasting the full 6 hours, at 5khps it's about 70%, and at 8k hps it's about 90%.

It would be an excellent idea to get CA3, LR5, ILR5, CS3, ID3, IID3 etc. All of these boost your survivability greatly (of course get IM, JF and dot crits as well).

55 to 61 kiting area

Hey guys, I gotta new spot for ya. Bodyguards in EW. They are level 50, respawn in about 10 minutes or so, and there are 4 of em. They do not summon and give decent exp through 61. Just a new spot in case your looking for a change of scenery. There is noone ever at this area of the zone and there is no risk at all here of getting killed.

Trick is to target the Captain, and get him to 20%, DO NOT KILL HIM. Target a bodyguard when hes low and leave him to run away. He will not come back if you let him go. If you kill him he'll pop in 30 minutes and heal the guards while youre afk and youll never go anywhere. I just figured there had to be another spot besides Dulaks at that level, and went searching. I know there are more sweet spots out there...

Hope this helps Inferno. Now... Lets all get together and figure out some more areas to go, cause it seems we're pretty limited, and we don't want a million bards all running around in a circle in the same zone now do we?

Sorry, forgot to input how to get there. As you zone in from the great divide, run east/northeast till you hit the cliff where the water starts. By this time you should see the bodyguards and the captain on track. If not just follow the coastline east till you see two tents. Set up the circle around the bodyguard tent and have at it.

Racecar, "/twist adjust 3" this will work for selos or for any duration advantage your using on slot 3? I just want it for selos as you said, just making sure its not that "slot" only.

It actually doesn't refer to slot 3. It means that any longer than normal duration song (selos, assonance, requime) will refresh 3 ticks (18 seconds) early.

Ahh. Thanks, yes this is a must, and i have to type it 1ce? or everytime i login?
Thanks btw. :)

Has anyone tried kiting the Golems in PoV yet? They con higher than vassal camp and are not supposed to summon. Will give em a try this weekend.

Good idea, let us know how it went, hopefully it will be a keeper, i want better xp! :)

Had a couple interesting things happen at vassal camp in last few days. Right after the last patch, a named that was usually elsewhere in zone was placed in the camp. Once the program got to targeting him, game over. Made me think soe was intentionally messin with my camp! Well a day later the named isnt there anymore, and neither is the Doorman, who also summoned. Yeaaa.
Next, I had an incident where i had no target at vassal camp. It happens for time to time. I then see a roaming skelly walkin towards me, and i am thinkin, ok i got a target again. But oddly enough it just stops and appears to be watchin me. Spells are not landin on it either. Oh crap I think and hit /circle off and back away to the water area to be safe. Skelly stays put. Next thing i know EVERY skelly in the camp. >10 jumped me. They didnt warp to me, but they moved incredibly fast. They beat me down in a second. Made me feel like i had been trained by a GM lol.

This is a tip for anyone that wants to prevent getting summoned in any zone. If you know the names of the mobs, add this to your targeting macro (btw you can use the Vxed targeting macro anywhere, just remove the part about zoning to Barindu).

In the events add:
Rich (BB code):
#event GainExp "You gain#*#"

Then in the main body add the following sub (replace the name of the NPC with the actual name of the NPC you want to never target):
Rich (BB code):
sub event_GainExp
/stoptwist
/tar npc next
/delay 10
/IF (${Target.Name.Equal[Name of NPC you never want to target]}) {
/target npc next
/delay 30
}
/twist 1 2 3 4 5 6
/return
This assumes your normal twist is 1 through 6, feel free to modify it if it's not. This will stop twisting every time you get exp, target the next mob and only start twisting if it's not your named.

just for info

Saced my bard from 52 to 45 and grouped her with my bard in Jagged pine from sat night to monday at 4pm she was from 30 to 49

my line to 49 was:

druid pl from 1 to 20 with cleric temp and heals PC
cleric and druid combo till 27 DSP
40 ranger and cleric combo to 30 DSP
bard afk group from 30 to 49 JPF
currently farmin lute of howler in velks and tinkerin stuff in PoInn and only 2 days played on chanter

okay, Duklak is safe, but too slow, i am 50 now and I need somewhere faster. is there anywhere ???

hamburgerhelper said:
Each one was about a 6min fight, which is the same amount of time it take to kite down something in HoH

If you are 55+ I reccomend Vassal Camp in PoV, at 62 I get 6% an aa, at a 4min kite.

Whats your song line up for a 4 minute fight. Im stacking flame disease and poison and kiting about 8 minutes. This is way too long. I run selos then three DOTs. MY twist is 1 2 3 1 3 4 to keep running for sure. Any suggestions?

thanks

Yea, 4 min seems fast. I have been at vassal camp a while now, pl'n alts up to 62 for HoH. When I started there is was 8-9 min a kill. Its now down to 6 min 40 sec a kill and I am lvl 61 with 65aa's. When I solo there it is 5-6%aa a kill. Its 4%aa a kill with alt grouped.
It would be sweet if we could add info like time per kill, aa/exp per kill (both grouped and solo), and spells/equiptment used. Just a thought.
