i was thinking.. if you could use mq2piggyzone to zone from nexus to tov... (nonadjacent zones)... maybe you could use it to zone into cshome provided you have the files? and also seeing that everything in there is FREE u could get those as well lol... anyways... here are cshome files i still have from when i used to be a guide...

Remember that cshome isnt adjacent to ANY zone.. whoever said its off of poknowledge is wrong. Big.. youre missing several files from cshome.. namely cshome.wav, cshome.cfg, cshome.emt and four others.

okay, so i put the UI files from the guide petition window in, what is the command to open the window? i am going thru that list that was posted before, but if anyone knows, please let me know.

Everything on the merchants is recorded in cshome. If you buy, you will be banned.

You can't even access certain merchants without being banned, whether you buy something or not. Some of them record you accessing them.

CSHome, unless it was changed recently, is just a big building like you would see in halls of honor in a big courtyard. Its surrounded by a stone wall. There are merchants all over and other npc's named after old gm's, guides, and developers to pay homage to their passage.

Now, the real question to ask since we're on the topic of GM shit...who knows how to access their secret GM channel? It's much like talking in a group, but serverwide and without being in the group. All GM/Guide have access to it and as far as I know, there's no way to record/list who is in the channel. If anybody knows more about that than I do, there's probably a way we could hack into the channel just to watch what they're saying. Imagine a month of recording GM's and archiving what they all say. The wealth of information would be astounding, most likely.

ya no shit Dark! that would be awsome. maybe hack into it via IRC, or use a free account. but on the topic of /zone when u /zone cshome it says 'i dont know a route to that zone'

Yeah SS.. you get that message because its not adjacent to ANY zone lol

I was answering a previously asked question, not giving direction. Still, good work for mentioning the obvious.

I rember thinking that is was off TD. But that is just because the fire pos are there and there was that didn't work if i rember corectly. im not sure and i realy don't think it is bust some one could go try it.

If I remember right, when I became a guide they gave me a note at the beginning to hand into the vendors to get the stuff. Without the note you can't buy anything. Also there is a big ass dog in there that attacks ya if you not a guide/gm, but he mostly just for show. Hell I could reapply to be a guide and get yall the files and stuff but doubt you can get in there unless you found out a way to trade nodrops between accounts and get the belt. Or you may be able to use the kind of warping and zoning that guides use to /zone into there. Just tell me if yall want me to do it and I will get the stuff for ya. Hell it might get me on the polls next month :p

You have to be flagged as a guide/gm to do the commands. There are some specific files client side but the commands have a check to see if you are flagged to use them or not.

I don't think you need that note, I forget what it's for. There are certain merchants guides are restricted to, but they're still able to access the GM merchants. If they do though, they get into some deep trouble.

The dog is like level 10, and he even scowls to GM's/Guides. Nothing in that zone is killable either.

This is true, but to different degrees. Sometimes if your corpse resurrection timer times out after you've fallen for like 20k damage and can't find the corpse, a GM will log onto your character when you're offline, tag you as a "GM", and rez you that way. This tag doesn't give you a status when you do /who all, but when you do /who all GM, your name comes up on the list, but without Guide or GM next to it. Sometimes the GMs forget to untag you. You cannot do any commands, and if you try to /zone, it drops you for 20k damage. Hehe, is fun though to do /kill and a player's name. Doesn't do anything, but it brings up a box that says "Do you want to kill (Name)" =p Fun to take screenshots of and send to the people you were threatening to kill.

Also, I have all of the CSHome files still, and the guide petition window and everything still, so I can try out anything that people come up with. The GM chat channel is /pr not /gmsay. /gmsay is kinda like an announcement I believe.

Also, if one of you does get to go to the CS Home, and you see the NPC's there, PAY YOUR RESPECTS, most of them were killed by drunk drivers, and the stories we're told when we become guides really hit the heart :(.
