Hi,

I'm trying to get into writing plugins for MQ2, and for an idea i have i would like to modify client side things.

Can anyone help me out with a small example of setting values client side?

Not active hacking, but changing name of a spawn as an example (client side)

Great!

Thanks for the hint on anonymize did not remember that caption option, it helped greatly.

The plugin now changes the name as i wanted thanks.

Do you have anything similar in terms of changing the player model?

ActorClient can be used to manipulate the race clientside, but what about the model it self?

I kinda guessed you just wanted anon... as for changing model, that can be done and it's not to hard but I suggest you just use a project illusion by a enchanter for now cause it's much easier than doing it from a plugin... if this is about turning the invis man model on like /afk does then it's not straight forward... I have looked into it and there are lots of stuff that needs to be done to make that work... not impossible, just time consuming.

Any chance of some hints toward the changing of model?

Lets say as an example, make all PC's look like a gnome.

I have radius selection from looking at the Autosize plugin from VIP forum.

I suspect some reverse engineering would have to be done to figure out how to turn all models into something else locally, I never looked into that one.
