Question - Playing a petclass manual and letting pet tank?

good day,

I have a nice groupsetup with a real tank I play manual. all my other toons are automated using the /kissassist macro. works realy great!

Im thinking about trying another new group setup and was thinking about using a petclass (atm I think it will be necro) as my maincharacter I would play by my own. is it possible to pull with the petclass and get heals by my automated toons on the tanking necro pet and the necro himself? Again, I want to play the necro manual by my own, being grouped with my other toons which are automated with /kissassist.

with my real tank I just target him with all my other toons and start the macro. how would this be with petclass? target the necro? target the necro pet?

My "real healer" struggles with pet heals at times, but I think that it can be done if you target the Pet and start Kiss to make him the MA.

but this would mean they only heal the pet not the necro himself, right?

They would heal the necro as well if he is in the group.

Generally speaking yes... assuming you're going to pet tank. If you're not going to pet tank, the healer should do well healing the necro if he's taking the beating. But you can add heals for !MA which is "not main assist".
