Plat - Plat Farming Guide

If we are generally speaking the best place to actually farm plats will be places that are conning LB or G and that drop good vendor trash or tradeskills items. Now for the lower levels like LVL 1 - 50 or so the best place to get plats is to buy a krono and sell it for 2m. Now if you are like LVL 50 or so the best gear is the game to get plats are the Intricate Defiant Gear set. The only reason why you can charge so much for this gear is because people like to have the best armor to defeat the 2 raid bosses that can only be done if you are lower than LVL 52. So I made a little chart so people can get some plats pretty fast. You can also level some by being in the level range of the mobs. I personally recommend going to these places when you can easily kill the mobs in the zone.

1 - 30	Kronos	Sell for 2m plats
30 - 60	Rathe Mountains | Hill Giants	The Hill Giants drop a ton of vendor trash and they give like 30pp per kill
60 - 80	All zones from LVL 48 - 60	Good sell in the bazaar
80 - 100	All HoT zones	The HoT zones drop many gems and tradeskill items which you can sell to barters
100 - 115	Shard's Landing | Pest Mobs	These pest mobs are weak and can easily drop many blue diamonds also many mobs in Shard’s Landing drop good vendor trash

I just put this up in like 10 minutes. There is some other places that will be a good place to farm plats like ToV with some mobs getting like 100pp per plat

Assuming we're talking easy options for those not wanting to pop up a Baz trader (I still haven't... seems like a hassle given my playstyle), I'd say TDS has potentially better options for bartering items.

EOK has been great for XP but horrrribbblee for vendor trash (at least in Lcen) and barter items. TBM is also pretty bad for bartering items but pretty good for vendor trash.

Before they dropped like candy everywhere, EoK was a cash cow... all you had to do was sell the purity augs and merc gear. I sold so many purity augs that I probably equipped half the server.

Planar Energy Shards sell for pretty good to barters, and they drop quite frequently, so he isn't wrong about Shard's Landing.
