Anyone have any experience or remember how his mechanics work? I'm working on doing the POWar Hunter Achievements and this guy is getting frustrating and I am having trouble finding a solid breakdown on him. I'm running 12 all level 105, mix of ROF T4 and COTF T1/2 Raid gear. I understand his mechanics have something to do with mana return abilities like Canni. I'm running SK/SHM/Bard/Zerk/Rog/Mnk and Pal/Clr/Enc/Nec/Nec/Bst. I've set all my mana tap/paragon/canni abilities to pretty much off during the fight, I seem to get him to about 30%, one attempt was literally 2% and I'm trying to replicate that attempt. Any suggestions would be amazing or if I'm misunderstanding his mechanic entirely. Thanks.

If I remember correctly ( which is unlikely ) you want to have your mana under his HP + 10 or 20%

1 - Disable any mana return abilities.
2 - Spam the biggest mana buff spells you have until you are under 10-20%

At one point I wrote a macro that would take off all your gear, then put it back on so you would dump about half your mana pool. It was for a different fight that also checked mana.

Gonna give that a try then, I am mana user heavy given the two knight tanks, gonna go in with the SK/SHM/Cleric and my melee with my bard empty on mana and see if the fight goes smoother after dumping the sk and healers of most of their mana.... I did notice a distinct difference when I turned off the SK AA that gives mana to the group from lifetaps, I just wasn't sure if he checks for overall mana pool or if its only mana returning abilities.

You can leave your healers on the first floor and heal through the floor, iirc
think his ability was line of sight, just watch for repops then
