Request - Pimp my KA ini

Below is the ini I'm using for my 85 shaman. He has all spells up to his level and now has over 900 aa. I feel that I don't have him healing correctly. I've got the dps section setup the way I want it to be right now so that he doesn't pull agro from my SK. Would like to get him setup so that I can have him as my primary healer and not have to run my merc at my afk camp.

These are the changes that I would make. IMO talisman of the cougar is a waste of spell casting time and mana for the benefit that it gives unless you've got a full group of melee/pets. If you have your AA "rescue heals" those should also be put in your healing section at lower %ages than the normal spells.

I also think that getting your slow/HoT off before malo will usually save your tank more HP. Use either turgur's or healing counter bias rather than both.

I updated things in the buffs, DPS, and heals section - noticed some of your items were still level 76-80 spells instead of 81-85.

Also put the canni spells at a little lower mana. It's just my personal experience that having them at high mana %ages results in the shaman sitting there casting canni spells when I'd rather him be casting DPS or heals at high mana.

The shaman is poorly geared atm. That's one thing I'll be working on shortly. Just gotta farm up some plat first.

At 85 he can wear VoA T1 gear and regardless of your server, you should be able to get an entire set of visibles for almost nothing. I got most of my Shaman's stuff for either free or 2-3k per piece.

Yep this is how I setup my chars at 80-85. 330 dream motes = full set of nonvis, then bazaar for VoA T1 gear. Expect to spend another ~1-3k per piece on templates and 2k per piece on the box/reagent to make the armor.

ok remember this when setting up healing , how fast are mobs dying and sadly if your tank is dying faster then norm don't have healer casting anything but heals because if you are casting say a 2 sec cast spell then a 3.8 second heal you have just lost 5 seconds of heal time and you might die

ohh also look at how fast tank is losing hp.
if you are losing faster then the first heal was intended and then overlapping in the second heal category then you might want to change that

my example would be you have a quick hot set for 95 but at the completion of cast you already are starting to cast your other heal because how fast hitpoints dropped basically wasting the hot because you are dying too fast for them

Intervention is a group heal, and thus would go off of group health... right? Also since it has a 180 second cooldown, even if it considers antecedent's to be a single target heal and casts it first, it will default to casting dannal's once the other heal is on cooldown.

Maybe I'm off, this is how I have my ini setup and it's worked well.

In the same respect, my Wizard has this in her ini for DPS:

Havoc has a 54 second recast and often isn't available for the first cast on a mob, so it just defaults to fire vortex when that's on cooldown.

Well, as of last night, I got my shammie all the HoT T1 non-vis. Picked up all the templates to get the vis gear. Now I just gotta camp the named x.x. A few friends suggested that I get rustic. Dunno though. While my main is a 92 sk with ~3700 aa and a J5 merc, dunno how well I'd survive against VoA named lol

You might be able to kill VoA T1 named kinda depends on your ac, but its gonna take forever without DPS :S

My 92 SK is sitting on 3700 AAs, but 80khp/7300AC buffed (cleric and bard lending some nice benefits) and has tanked up to T2 VoA without a sweat. Long as he's firing off first spire, chest click, unholy aura disc, and epic click + spamming life taps during named fights you should feel pretty safe even without heals. My sham/cleric normally end up nuking during named fights haha.
