Question - PetTank, if pet dies my healer ends KA. Any way to fix?

When I start KA on my shaman I have my necro pet targeted. Works great until my pet dies, rarely. Is there a command I can start KA with on my shaman to adjust to whatever my necros pet name is? Or a condition I can add to the ini to switch MA if necro pet dies?

Correct. I was under the impression that targeting the pet focused heals and buffs on pet as tank…

i think there is a setting to heal group pets, just need to turn that on.

the problem is that the kissassist sets a variable with the pets name and when that pet is gone, there is no one to assist anymore, since that name is gone, atleast thats what i am assuming is the issue.

Yep, that is exactly the issue. The group heal works but the pet tank doesn't get all the MA buffs and the like. Those all go to my necro, which isn't needed. When I start it on the pet, the shaman treats the pet as a real tank, it's pretty awesome.

If you just want to buff the pet with normal buffs, then set BuffsOn=2, and KA will check for pets when buffing a character.

Great idea but I don’t think it would work. Once pet died KA would end even if the necro pops the new pet asap.

I just moved to having my necro as MA. Now that my shamans heals are beefy there are no issues even with tier 2 named.
