Question - pet toys and reuqesting them.

So I have a mage in my normal group. Is there a way in KA to ask the mage for pet toys (Weapons, Mask, Armor), and then give them to the pet say for the nec, enc, and sk?

Do they send a tell for toys and such and then whent hey get them they open them like the mage does and had it to the pet? I don't see an example of how that works.

Run the eqbc server as standalone, its a right click option on the mq2 icon on your taskbar.

start the plugin if it isn't started yet by typing /plugin MQ2eqbc load

Have all of your chars connect to it by typing /bccmd connect

type command
/bct magename //PetToysPlz ${Me.Pet.CleanName}

this will read your mage ini and make it give the toys/armor to whoever sent the messsage

Thanks!!! I don;t have armor listed in my mage ini because mage pet's won't use them. DO I need to add it for the others and will it not give me problems with the mage pet?

the mage pet wont take the armor but other classes pets will. i keep it all in mine as i run a few different pet classes.
mage will usually auto delete the armor his own pet wont take anyways it just takes a little more time for it to delete

I can only get it to give it 3 items, then it stops and deletes the bag.
Have to do this? Seems like a lot of bag summoning and deleting...??

On my group of 110 characters I've found that I need to "unstack" the pet classes. I mean that if they have recently zoned or used a campfire and are standing in a big clump of characters I have to spread them out a bit so the mage can target the various pets. Sometimes this means dropping mounts and levi too. There is no error messages it's just that the mage won't even attempt to make and give pet gear until the group is spread out a bit. Just an observation since targeting pets manually is even worse!

I'm still a noob on setting up mage pet toys. I literally filled that all in, (and again yesterday) and my mage just sits there with toys=1 in the INI. I try with and without KA running ... Doesn't seem to matter. Maybe i've done something wrong? I'd love to have a char send me a tell and summon pets stuff for them. It'd make things so much easier! And lastly, does it clear a bag space or do you need one already empty?

Tried it again with KA running and nothing. Both chars on EQBC. Mage gets the msg and just sits there as if it never happened. I tried this with a bag slot open and then tried it again with all bag slots full. No response. GRRR!! So, do I need a bag slot completely open?

You have to have an empty slot in your base inventory for this to work FYI.

Do you have a top inventory slot open? You can do it in a bag.

doesn't matter what slot you have open, just have an empty bag slot so the summoned items have a spot to go. the bag and any unused items will be deleted once macro finishes
