Problem - Pet Mage ignoring the Melee assist pct and Pet assist Pct when Tank call tanking in dannet channel

A bit more context may help but at first glance, is the mob at 98% or under?



I would also recommend switching the values of your CampRadius (General section) and MeleeDistance (melee section)

Depends, sometime its because Tank had a riposte and it come to 98%, and sometime its because Mob casted an effect to the tank even if far away, mob is at 100% and it sends pet and swarm pet.

Melee distance should be higher than campradius

As for the assist, I assume it's hitting the 98% criteria for the pet to be sent in or there is some other form of automation or maybe a hotkey causing it if the mob is over 98%. Keep in mind lag as well as the mob could be dipping to 98% before you see it on your screen. Try changing the petassistat to 50% and see if there is now a delay and then adjust it so it reacts when you want it to.

What @Psy suggested is a good idea. I would set my PetAssistAt=50 and see if the pet owner waits before sending in the pet. The call from the Tank will only matter for out of group characters, so if the the pet owner is in the same group as the MA, then turning off DanNet will not matter. I have a suspicion that there is something else sending in the pet and not KissAssist.

Well thanks for the advices, PetAssist at 50% didnt solve the problem, I think i started to figureout that if ToB mob sends the aureate bane to the group even far from it, the mage sends the pet and the option pet hold is not working ( pet is never on hold).
Is ther someting i can do to keep pet on hold while tank is pulling ?

This configurable option is not used any longer in the code for KissAssist, as of version 8.0. PetHold ON commands are controlled and initiated by detection of the existence and level of Pet Discipline AA you have.

I would look to see if your ghold is actually on - from what i read in the wiki it no longer turns it on with the ini

you should be able to set ghold manually in the pet window and kissassist should not chage it

PetHold gets set to ghold or hold depending on the rank of your Companion's Discipline AA. The command used to hold the pet is "/pet ${PetHold} on". Looking at the INI you posted, the only reason the pet would not stay in a hold condition is if your Companion's Discipline AA is not high enough rank or something else is issuing the /pet attack command.

check mq2melee is that loaded ? if so unload it on mage and see if that changes anything
mq2meee settings are located in the config folder:

you can use /pluginman
then look to see if mq2melee is checked

or just use
/plugin mq2melee unload

both are ways to unload mq2melee

if this ends up being the problem you can use a cfg file to make sure its unloaded every time you load in the mage

but mge still send pet when mobs are at 99% and tank is in pulling progress as soon as it has it in line of sight

What class are you pulling with?
Try pulling with something other than melee

Also I think you gonna have to change the mage melee assist to something lower as well

I would look at pulling with a stun, taunt or something that doesn't damage the mob before it gets to camp
I pull with SK and use Power spell so no damage before mob gets to camp.
I have my mages set to assist at 99
I have shammy that assists at 100 - toss a couple dots and im good
You can also use dannet to send command to mage to /mqp on and /mqp off to pause the mage until you get to camp too'

i guess options are to lower assist number or use hotkey to pause mage while your pulling and unpause it when you get to camp.
I would just lower assist number on mage - you must be doing enough damage on pally to not worry about the 1 or 2 seconds before the mage would start attacking

No. If the Mage is in assist role, then the Mage will start casting based on AssistAt value and then check if the Pet can start attacking, and that is based on PetAssistAt value. They can be the same or they can be different values. Also the check to start the pet attack is done before the check to start the owners/master attack. That way you can send in the pet before the owner/master starts attacking.

For Pet roles like pettank, the PetAssistAt value is overridden and set to 100, so the pet is sent in once the mob gets within MeleeDistance
