Found this nifty little bug.
I'm an SK and a Dark elf. So heres what you do. I put my shinai's nightie on (all/all robe) while my breastplate is on my curser i pop lich and turn into a skeleton. Then put my breastplate back on and bag the robe. Then click off the Skeleton illusion and viola i'm still wearing a robe but with my normal breastplate on. Not much to most of you but i love going around anon in like BoT and pretending to be a necro wearing my robe. then tanking and watching the lowbies going OMG! anyhow time for roadtrip later.
Edit: This will work for any race/class as long as you can turn into a skeleton (because skeletons HAVE no armor graphics (should also work with wolf / bear form)) once you click off the illusion you reset back to teh last known armor graphics for your toon.
