If you have Fiery Defender:*

Talk to Irak Altil, in Halls of Honor, you have to go through his text to get an invisible flag, he basically asks you to seek out souls and rescue them. This happens in the form of soul shard collection and soulstones.

*If you don't have FD, you must first do the pre-quest for Couragebringer (or finish up FD).

Note: All these soulstones are fairly easy to find, as they look like the glowing blue orb graphic (i.e. Zlandicar's heart, Xegony fists)

OoW: Rithnok's soulstone (4 shards)

First shard is in Dranik's scar, as you head to Bloodfields, it's at the bottom of the large ramp between the two towers. Loc around (+1000, +100)

Second shard is in Bloodfields, it's in a hut under a noc's foot, as you head towards the Castle housing the Ruins of Dranik zoneout. Loc is around (+450, +730)

Third Shard is in Noble's causeway. As you run towards Wall of Slaughter, keep an eye peeled on the depressed area, as you're running on a raised platform most of the way. The shard is visible from a good distance. Loc is around (-900, -350)

Fourth Shard is in Ruins of Dranik. This shard sucked to get, I died a few times in the process. I ended up exploring the entire zone before I found it. If you go through Murkglider alley, once you exit it to the general south of the bridgekeeper's area, swing a right out of the tunnel enterance, and go up a small hill. BE CAREFUL HOWEVER. There are a bunch of named Kyvs here, that see invis from a great distance, and will fire an arrow that'll break your invis, and you'll die. What I did here was inch as close as I could, until I saw the blue orb in their camp, blow DA, run in, loot it, and train out to die. I then got my body back later with a few invis potions. General loc is (-500, +360)

How to spawn Rithnok

First off, speak to Enic in the Temple of life. He will speak of an iksar who stole a fish. Go through his text, as I don't know if you get an invisible flag here.

Speak to the barbarian in the Efp dock. He's on the lower level of the docks. A single hail will give you 'An Iksar's note'

Read the note. It lists 4 locations.

At each of these four locations, you grab a pole, some bait, and go fishing. When you fish 'A dark fish's scale', this is a trigger for a corrupted Koalandl to pop. It's good to have a tracker as all the locations aren't exacted.

First fishing spot: Ocean of Tears.

I fished on the sister island. When the koalandl popped, it agroed me, near the dock. Kill it, loot heart.

Second fishing spot: Overthere.

Finding the fish pop spot here is harder. It pops near (+3800, -2000). Fish near there, then make a few laps around hitting f8, if you dont' have a tracker. Again, kill, loot heart.

Third Fishing spot: Gulf of gunthak.

I swam to the coastline and fished there. When it popped, it popped out a bit from shore, near the middle. Again, a tracker is good for this. When the fish get low, they run, and are unrootable. Have your stuns up so they don't completely elude you.

Fourth Fishing spot: Nedaria's landing.

I fished out in the ocean, directly out from the wayfarers camp, to the right of the first pier there. The fish popped nearby. The water is clear, so easier to see him. Again, kill, loot your 4th heart.

*Note* Remember that you're fishing for all of these spawns, and they are only 'spawned' when 'a dark fish's scale' is successfully fished by someone.

AFTER THIS:

Head back to Enic in the temple of life in Qeynos. Hand him the 4 hearts. He gives you a Seal of Enic and alludes to being able to speak to Ring of Scale creatures.

Head to Skyfire. Find Dry Sapara at the gate to Veeshan's peak. A single hail from him with the seal in your inventory gives you a paragraph of text, asking to find Rithnok. This also spawns 'Rithnok the Tormented'.

Rithnok pops to the left of the VP enterance a good distance, Not visible frmo the VP Entrance itself, as you' are facing outwards from it. He hits for 700ish, is somewhat resistant to our spells. Our level 66+ stuns will hit him. He is undead, proc's HT infrequently. Bring a friend or two just to be safe.

Once dead, loot his soulstone, which is a complete item, not a container. YOU HAND THIS to Dry Sapara. Dry Sapara hands it back to you as a 4 slot container. Put the 4 pieces of Rithnok's soulstone which you found all over OoW into there, combine, and there you have it, Rithnok's soulstone

Drema's Soulstone (2 shards)

To start out, Drema is in the NE corner of Mons Letalis, doesn't respond to hails. Find her brother in Dawnshroud peaks (Mikhal Young), go through his text. He gives you a locket. Bring the locket to Drema, you get a fingerbone in return. Bring the fingerbone back to her brother. He then asks you to talk to Dunns or something; some gnome who's around the fire in the same camp he's at. Go through his text, and he hands you a satchel, tells you to find 3 Dark Skeleton Remains. All lore/nodrop from different zones.

To find them:

Kill Disturbed Elysian Remains in Umbral.

Kill the soriz/etc undead in the mines of Ssraeshza.

Kill Sun Revenants in the Grey.

Expect a 2-3 hour camp for each, barring luck or a fast kill rate.

Put 3 remains in the bag and combine. Hand the bag back to the gnome in the Dawnshroud camp, he gives you Enchanted bone power. Run back to Mons Letalis and give it to Drema. *NOTE* Be buffed and FM before you hand it in to her, as she asks you to 'release' her, and puts up a fight. She has about 20-25khp, is unstunnable, isn't undead and hits for 5-550ish. She's also a paladin so she heals herself a fair bit. Killing her nets you her container, a 2 slot combine box.

Drema's first soulstone is found in Tenebrous Mountains. In the Coterie castle, on the top floor is a Coterie Corruptor. He's fairly easy to get to, and inconsequential in terms of a fight.

If you have the first soulstone and the soulstone container on you, zone into PoN. You will get an emote of :Mujaki's voice enters your mind,'You may have beaten my corruptor, but you will not best me!' or something similar. The 2nd soulstone drops off Shade of Mujaki the Devourer, who pops instantly after you kill Mujaki the Devourer. Bring about 8-10 folks for this event. 3-6 spites and one healer works well, rest being dps.

Reiya's Soulstone (2 parts)

To start this quest out, talk to Lovine Lemise, she's in the room in Abysmal Sea right next to the soulbinder, go through her text and she asks you to collect a few things for her, to make a potion for her.

Potameid Seaweed Strands: From Potameids in Natimbi. Fairly rare, pain in the to get if you don't have a tracker. Potameids are in the far SW corner of the zone, out in the water.

Mastruq Havocblade Blood: Drops in Qinimi off the Mastruq Havocblades. Fairly rare, getting a healer or dps smooths the killing over in the Temple where the BiC trial is.

Noc Fleshfeaster Tail: Drops in Riwwi off the Noc Fleshfeasters.

Ra'tuk Screambringer's Jaw: Drops in Barindu off the Ra'tuk Screambringers.

*NOTE*: All of these are soloable, but it's slow and tedious. For the Barindu piece, which was the hardest, I slapped together a group of 60-65s to 'xp' to do it easier, as I can't for the life of me find someone who wants to do xp in Barindu. Best to bring a friend or 3 to make this go by quick.

Once you have all 3 items, combine them in the container Lovine gave you, give it back to her. BUT, before you do this, make sure you have a Potion of Breathless Mist on you, just to make the next turn-in go quick. This isn't really sold in Bazaar. I have an extra one on me, the only foraged ingredient it needs is 'Cave Algae' which I snagged a bunch of from bazaar before whoring out a shaman for the combine. Make sure it's a single charge potion.

Give Lovine the enchanted bag from the 4 components you collected, she'll go through some text. Then give Reiya tge potion of breathless mist.

Reiya will go through some text along the lines of 'Arrrggghh.. Ferubi'.

You then recieve Reiya's soulstone, a 2 slot container.

First piece of Reiya's soulstone is in Ferubi. Bring a group, just to clear to her. She's about 10 mobs in, and a total pansy, hits for 4-500 tops.

Second piece of Reiya's soulstone is from a Vxed special raid instance. You get this instance from Apprentice Udrana (same guy as normal instances). The only way you can get it is by being in a raid of 10 to 24 people before requesting an instance. The special raid instance is packed with level 70-72 mobs. The final boss is a giant sized aneuk named Vvuranish Xxuro, he is right up the middle, level 75. He's fairly easy to a raid of 20ish folks, he has TT's AE of Quivering Nightmares, which is a DD and long stun, and infrequently will AOE rampage.

Redis' Soulstone

This soulstone is intact, there are no shards to collect. Once you have the other three soulstones, Irak Altil speaks to you of the fourth soulstone.

If you have the three Soulstones in your inventory, go to Nedaria's landing. Head towards the open saw mill near the waterfall, if you follow the mouth of the river. Redis is an erudite, sitting there in a corner. All it takes is a hail to get the expedition, and for him to depop. Make sure you're in a group as there may be a bug that causes the expedition to vanish quickly if you're ungrouped.

The expedition he gives you is in Ruins of Dranik. I had a group there and ready to zone in. You get the standard blue line for the expedition, nothing really sees invis in the area you would get an expedition in.

When you enter the zone, keep invis on. One of my groupmates had a map of the zone. Redis is in the NE corner of the zone, and it's a huge run. Nothing sees invis in the zone. If you make it to his room, hug the walls. Good to have a bard/monk puller as 2-3 mobs in the room can agro. Clear a few mobs in his room, and he comes solo.

He hits for 1400ish, and has Arch Mage Yozzani's AE (Disjunction of Flame). I believe it's -350 FR, 36 curse counters and a severe manadrain. His ATK isn't that high, easily healable with one cleric on an 11kish tank. He's undead, not high on hp, burn him down, loot his soulstone.

This is the fourth soulstone you will loot. Upon looting it, you get an emote telling you to go to WoS as the keeper of the souls' torments is waiting for you there.

The Final Fight

Durugai the Cursecaller, or something close to that is the final mob you face. Upon zoning into Wall of Slaughter, you should have an ample sized raid force. He pops to the right of the gateway to MPG, in the ruins. He's leashed.

I did him with 29 Time/GoD geared folks, wasn't hard. He has an AE gflux, so keep levitation spells up. He also has Quarm's AE (Epoch Conviction) at -300 MR resist check. Keep MR buffs up. During the fight, he pops adds. The adds weren't an issue, as the majority of them were mezzable.

Some adds are unmezzable, easily kited or spited by whoever. Focus on him, burn him down, then kill adds afterwards.

Loot 'A dark and twisted sword'. Bring this sword back to Irak Altil. Irak returns the sword as a 4 slot container. Place the four completed soulstones into the container. Combine. Go afk in PoK for 4 days.

One more thing to mention. I'm not positive if there is a set sequence to completing the first three soulstones. I did them in the order of Reiya - Drema - Rithnok, then Redis will always be the fourth soulstone to collect.
