Oakwynd - 6 boxing - Should I use Mercs as well when they come out?

I run 6 toons on oakwynd.

This let's me do a fair bit of content very easily. There are some OW raid bosses that I wouldn't mind killing, wondering how easy it would be to do 2 groups of 3 + 3 mercs in each group (Effectively 6 boxes + 6 mercs). Of course I'd have to "/yell" to allow the other group to assist in killing the mob, but how clunky would this be when running with MuleAssist - is it possible?

It's best to run 2 full groups. FTP characters are better than Mercs by a long shot.

While I agree with the sentiment on a live server, suggesting ftp characters on Oakwynd is a bit silly to say the least.
I can't offer any thoughts on raiding with mercs or using muleassist with more than 6 characters, but I would strongly advice against using MQ to kill any raid target in open world -- the risk vs reward ratio is just not even remotely close to acceptable.

You would only be able to do open world mobs. Mercs are disabled in raid zones unless they changed that. Just a heads up.

I am largely unaware as to why FTP is a subpar choice over a Merc in any situation on any server? Can you expound your thoughts on this please?

what ow bossess are you planning to try this with? if its tss ones like the ooze or the golem those can be 1 grouped with raid geared boxes easily in tss. if its sof i wouldnt bother you will be doing rz and rz hard in sod so you wont need that. scorn was a bit to hard with 18 for me in sod i had to borrow some dudes and 36 it. and the spider in fort mech and the ghost guy in the carnival in loping didnt drop good enough stuff for me to bother but i was also doing sod raids with the dudes i borrowed. so maybe they will be worth it to you but i think they wont because of rz and rz hard. my guild on riz didnt even do rz or rz hard we just split up into our own raids / groups and did it. then reconviened the next day to do tosk and korafax
