First issue is that I am unable to figure out where to go to change a melle characters combat abilities. I have a monk that automatically uses Kick and I want it to use Round Kick. I have tried setting the Combat Abilities window in game and setting the Ability in my in game Hotbar to Round Kick but I still Kick. I even tried setting the DPS section of Very Vanilla to Round Kick but program doesn't seem to recognize the change and gives me an error and turns off the melle DPS section. There must be somewhere in one of the programs that this can be changed but cannot find anywhere else to look. Any ideas?
Second problem is how do I define a character as Melle vs Caster for buffs. I tried turning the casters melle off and hoped that would do it but buffs still seem to go to all characters. Could not find anywhere in Very Vanilla where I can make this definition unless I need to add something in the Role of the character other than Role=Assist (toonname).
Last, I cannot get the loot commands /lootdestroy or /lootsell to work. I set up as per example by creating a Hotkey on my in game Hotbar and clicking the Hotkey with the item on my cursor but get the error "invalid command". Only thing I can think of is maybe Ninjadvloot is not the default program? If it is not, how do I get Very Vanilla to use it? If it is the default I am stuck.
These are small issues but in fixing the larger issues I have had setting up the program I have not stumbled upon fixes for these. Thanks in advance for direction you can point me in to find the answers, AnotherJohn

Edit: I have somehow solved the Second problem and program seems to identify casters and melle. Not sure what I did but in my fine tuning as I learn the program it started working the way it should. Still working on the first and third problem. Especially the first one as I have been unable to figure out how to access the MacroQuest2 files. I never downloaded MQ2 so I assume it is somewhere in VeryVanilla which I did download but cannot seem to find it in that folder or as a separate program on my computer. Would appreciate any ideas on what direction to look in. I will keep plugging away as I learn more and get deeper into the program. "Never give up, never surrender...."

Edit: The program or my tinkering has somehow solved the third problem. After completing the latest download after the patch, I checked again and the /lootdestroy and /lootsell hotkeys worked. Again, not sure if it was something I did or the patch solved it but works now. That leaves me with only my first problem which basically is where is and how do I get into the mq2melle plugin to make setting changes. I have tried everything I can think of and no luck. I am sure it is something simple that I am over looking and will keep plugging away at it but any suggestions to get me rolling would be appreciated. Thanks

First one has to do with your server_name.ini under the Release folder.

1. Find kick set it to 0.
2. go to http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/MQ2Melee#Monk , find the ability or skill you want to add and do a save.
3. do a /melee load.

I think if you do a /melee save it should update your .ini with the skills you have available. Then you can just go to your .ini and turn kick off and turn round kick on, save and do a /melee load

mofoasso,
Thanks for reponding and trying to help a helpless noob out. I went to my Release Folder and found the Server_toonname.ini folder when I opened it all I found was: [MQ2Rez]Soundfile=C:\Users\ComputerName\Desktop\Very_Vanilla_Compile20170621\Release\mq2rez.wav
Accept=0
So I then went to http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/MQ2Melee#Monk which has a bunch of good info that I am sure I will use once I start to understand this stuff better. So I tried to do a /Melle Load, I tried in the Server_toonname.ini folder, didnt work so I tried in game before doing /Mac KissAssist and after loading /Mac KissAssist both got me error messages. So I guess I am unclear on where to do the /Melle Load command. Could I get around that by just cutting and pasting what I need from http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/MQ2Melee#Monk to the Server_toonname.ini folder?
Again thank you for your help. At the very least I have found a new resource to us in learning how to use this program, AnotherJohn
