Now you have a little way of finding out if that rare mob is up.
Do any emote with an NPC's name and if they are in the vicinity, you just might be able to tell.
Lets say you are in Commonlands and want to find out if Terrathud is up.
/dance Terrathud
If you see the emote complete, it means that this mob is up. If your'e just dancing with yourself, then probably not.
This doesn't always work for common mobs such as "a timberclaw gnoll" because "/dance a" might make you just end up dancing with someone who's name starts with the letter a.
