Ok So There I was Minding My Own...Owning Stalkers in PoN PLing my ranger. I was using my war to pull and tank the mobs, I would pull 3 to 4 at a Time just cause i am soo dam lazy that i hate pulling lol. Anyway I was killing 3 to 4 at a time and was getting sick of being pushed all around the place so I went ahead and tryed out the Nomeleepushback Docrack.

Well everything seemed dandy except forone thing...I wasnt getting pushed back a wink but the mobs would still move forward as if i was moving back. Well I started getting pissed about this then relized that the server just doesnt see that i am not getting pushed back and so the mobs would act as if I was getting knocked back. For some reason (smoking a cig,watching a movie,whatever)I wasnt paying attention and when i turned back i noticed that the 3 mobs i had there were not moving and neither was I. Being Charter sucks(cablecompany) My first Though was oh shit i am going LD, Then I relized my meter was green and no lag was showing up. I didnt move my war at all alt-tabbed to my ranger and started popping off arrows to see if they would turn and attack him...they didnt move a step. I took a step back with my war and they started hitting me again.

I was like Dam if this works like i think it does this could be so valuable....So again after i Moved I wanted to try it again to just make sure this wasnt a one time thing, Sure enough I tryed it again same results. After About 20 seconds or less maybe i wasnt timing the Mobs were far enough in back of me that they werent able to hit me and my ranger was able to just sit there and peg them with arrow after arrow. I was even able to keep taughnting the stalkers with the war and they didnt Move!!!

So What Yas Think??? I Think That This May Just prove to be Usefull if it works to the full extent :p

Try some things out with this if ya get time:

1. Check to see if they'll stay in place as long as the warrior doesnt move. (I mean just let the warrior sit there and not taunt and see if the mobs changing aggro will cause them to move.)

2. See if you can attack the mobs with your warrior with a bow, then try a combat spell....see if either one causes them to rush you.

Well Yes as long as the war didnt move(even if i wasnt taugnting) the mobs stayed in 1 place and didnt do anything at all. Now that being said i havent tried it real in depth yet as i had to leave for a bit and is now getting close to my sleep time

As To ure second question I would think that it wouldnt work..reason being They are to close, When this happens the way i am trying to explain it looks like the begining of a showdown. Meaning I am faced 180 degrees to them so they are right at my back(just enough back so i am not enough in front of them for them to see me) But I havent tried it yet so i guess i will try tommorow or maybe someone else could =). Anyway if i were able to use the bow to shoot them (with my war) it would turn him around and prolly get the aggro back from the mobs

Just Think if this worked against big Mobs and stuff u couldnt normally kill, U could sit there with another couple toons and just blast away at the mob with him doing no damage lol :p

P.S. I tried this with a regular single mob and it didnt work so u have to have a big Mob or a couple mobs on u to create enough suposed knockback to create this...And Plz If u try this Let us Know if it worked and yada yada GP Try It lol

I tried this in CoM the today. Worked like charm... I ran through and pulled as much as I could with my bards AE song. Sat there for a min while they beat on me after a few seconds they were to to far to attack and let my AE song kill them.

U know I am a tard i didnt even think of AEing with my bard lol I bet this works awesome with that. Anyone else try this? I wanna see what all people are able to do with this. :p

All right Just had a brain Storm in the VBchat and have come up with a method if ure a bard and ure at least lvl 60. I will try this if no one else has by the time i get to it =). Ok go and pull a crap load of mobs making sure not to get hit too much so u end up dieing..anyway when u got what u think is a big enough pull cast ure invulnerability and right before it lands stop and let them hit u till they arent anymore...hopefully it will turn out to be less time then it takes for ure song to wear of and if so viola there u have mobs not hitting u and u are free to AE away with no worries

this could be a very nice trick for soloing named mobs =) kudos smokinghot. I played with no melee pushback crack awhile ago and turned if off after awhile cause i noticed i wasent moving at all and didnt want the rest of my group to notice it too. Never even thought of what you did

so for example... you could pull most of vxed get pushed back then do 4 ae songs... all the mobs die at once(allowing for resists of course) and well erm ding 5/6 aas per kill hmmz

LOL I hear Ya There I hated SoE for so so so long..Hell what am i talking about i still do lol but when they took away AEing for bards i was all torn up inside :p Now we may again begin to play

can prolly do the whole of the room that we kite in np but what are repop times there?

not really to fussed about named mobs just the mases of exp we can get from aeing

btw im guessing mobs will still summon you and u will get kersplated so gotta be careful i wud think with the ae

Will this work if you, lets say as a warrior and used foritude, and then let the mob keep hitting you until its behind you and freezes there? Or a cleric using DA, DB until it goes to the back of ya? This is a nice trick..Never knew about it myself until you have brought it up..Course props goes to Tone for first discovery..Guess many had forgotten heh..

OK playing with it now this is the guide....

1. put the crack on load ur aes and equip ur lute (btw its been so long what are the best aes to use? at 70?)

2. pull a BIG swarm of NONE summoning mobs (pon atm but going to vxed shortly)

3. make sure ur swarm is in one big ball

4. Cast invunerability song and stand still, hit ur ae twist hot key

5. once invurl fades u will see mobs going behind you, more mobs faster they will go behind you.

6. wait till there all dead.

If you are invunurable the mobs will NOT go behind you because there not hitting u so u dont get pushed back... but good in vxed when u cant get the mobs into a ball with out them hitting you

ok in hoh it does work lol, 4 mobs took me to 30% before they got behind me, think a cleric with Poni elixr is a MUST for anything bigger

gunna take bardy into vxed along with my pl toon and a cleric gunna hope if i cast a heal on the bard that the cleric wont get agro

think im gunna try the melee mitigation song also just after da drops and with vie and a heal over time /prays if it all goes tits up, frogotten halls might be an option but never been there so not sure how hard mobs hit for

hmm ok vxed is a bit to hard keped on chain dieing BUT thats because my internect connection kepted on crapping out on me at the wrong time BUT if ur bard has around 11k hps with the cleric doing elixr and celestial healing i rekon its doable. tho alot of work might be best just to stick to the good ol vxed macro.

am not in mood for fiddling till my net connection gets back but hope this helps ya

no the mobs have to be damaging and hitting you to cause pushback as i can tell bu DA is good fer having mobs beatin on ya at once
