Question - New User: I can't figure what I am doing wrong.

I just started using the addon today.
I am currently playing a Shadow Knight 32, Shaman 31, and Druid 26. I want to set it up so that they SK will automatically snare when the NPC is below 50% health as well as keep buffs up. However, when I put in the spell names, I read an error message saying somethin about the spell not being found. I used spell check to populate a list of spells that I have memorized, and copied the names created by that into my spell book.

There's a space before Engulfing Darkness, which is likely causing it to not be found. You may need to remove the other spaces around 50 as well, so it reads as:

Also something worth noting is DPSSkip=20 will stop snaring below 20%. Change it to 0 and he will snare down to 0%

DPSSkip is the % of the mobs HP you want it to stop doing damage (or anything in the DPS section of kiss assist)

I see spaces, remove all of them in any line you typed a spell|% except where they are part of a spell name.

ex.

As much as I LOVE Kissassist (And I DO LOVE KISSASSIST), I prefer to run my Snare in a holyshit myself.
Now your set up (once you get the spacing issue corrected) should work, but I would fear your snare running out before the mob dies if you only have hit it once nomatter what.

Not sure why you aren't having the druid snare, unless the mobs are resisting him a lot due to his level, but...here isa holyshits for you (if you know how to use them)

This will check to see if it is an NPC (Mob), It's HP is less than 50%, If your spell is indeed ready to cast, and if the mob has not been snared already, then it will cast it.

Mind I use it with the SK AA snare (as I play on live with high end SK) so I have never used it with his actual line of spells, but I think it should work.

Note the Holy goes in your MQ2/Release folder in ini file noted as servername_toonname, under the MQ2Melee section (example path Desktop/MQ2/Release then find ini for Zek_Bob (if you play on the Zek server, and Bob was your toon).

I was avoiding going too in depth as he was low level and a new user.

If you want to avoid Holyflags, as it will chain cast if its an immune mob.

This should be in the new release once they get one updated. Works flawlessly now that Ctaylor22 fixed Mq2Cast
