NEW Tradeskill Macros

Alchropie said:
hmmm...i was reading through the recepie and its saying to make the blessed dust i need pottery at 103...is this still correct? i need other skills up as well to make them?

It is 103 yes, and you also need a lvl 29 cleric or druid (Tunare) to make the dust, unless you buy it from Baz, which will put the cost up even more

also i have roughly 275k and some change...how far doing this macro would it get me? maybe trivial with some left over? or not even close? this is my first tradeskill this high

at best 22 skillups I'd say

Fletching starts buying parts and immediately reselling at skill #36

Bake.mac requires a Spit, not split, and also requires a non-stick frying pan to get started, not makable in abysmal (one part available only from jaggedpine)

I had to also change desired skill from 200 to 248 on the brew mac, dunno if 200 was the desired default

Awesome work !!!

Started Pottery from 0 skill... buys watter, and moves to next Merchant (Malkidiv U`Ycionuz) where he buys "Block of Clay". According to the echo in the MQ window, only supposed to buy 20, but it buys stacks of them until your bags are full, and one is on your cursor.

Smith2 chokes at FPH

Smith2.mac chokes when attempting to do Fine Plate Helms. It finds Fine Black Plate Helm in the list instead.

Any update to the fishing macro? I am good until almost to the fishing spot, or what I assume is the fishing spot. The directions put me in the water every time. I buy all the goods and start moving to the fishing spot when I am still up on ship I seem to walk through a rail and into the water.Other than that it is great. Thanks for the work put into these.

Nevermind, tweaked some numbers on the fishing macro and now i stay dry. Am trying to get it to destroy the sandal and dagger instead of dropping in my bags now. Cut and pasted the lines from the fish macro in Red;s compile but that gives me a multi thread error and shuts the macro down.

thanks
Quis :)

question if I may.

On the combine mac if you wanted to add a way that it would auto destroy 1 item but not another how would you do that?

I want to destroy the pottery item im making for skill ups and keep the sculpting tools.

Rich (BB code):
#event OutOfStuff "Sorry, but you don't have everything you need for this recipe in your general inventory."

Sub Main
:Loop

:ClearCursor
/if (${Cursor.ID}) {
/autoinventory
/goto :ClearCursor
}
/call FreeSlots
/notify TradeskillWnd CombineButton leftmouseup
/doevents
/delay 2
/notify TradeskillWnd AutoInvButton leftmouseup
/goto :Loop
/return

Sub Event_OutOfStuff
/endmacro
/return

Sub FreeSlots
:loop
/if (${Me.FreeInventory}<=2) {
/itemnotify ${FindItem[=ITEM NAME HERE].InvSlot} leftmouseup
/delay 5
/destroy
/goto :loop
}
/return

Heh, wouldn't it be easier to check if it's that one item and destroy if so, else, autoinventory?

Heh.. or you could create a Tradeskillkeep.ini where you could put items with either keep, sell, or destroy values and use that? heheh.. That's what I did with advloot.ini for some of my macros. That way they sell stuff automatically now.. hehe. Aaaahhh Yeah..

I tried using smith.mac as instructed in the file by standing behind Snokin Breaksteel and running /macro smith command. However, it keeps buying stacks of metal sheet until I ran out of the room and couldn't buy no more. Then it kept saying "You may not make a purchase wihile you have an item on hour cursor". Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help.

I tried this and it's working great. Here's a couple of tips though.

Once items are stacked do not unstack and restack them. You will quite often CTD, CT Server, or have the stack poof when you zone.

Do not use super stacks with the new tradeskill window. You will do 20 successful combines then CTD and have your stacks poof when you login again. Siddin's suggestion of using old-school macros that use the old style combine containers works great. They might require a bit of tweaking but it's nothing too major.

Keep your stacks to around 1000 items. I've had very erratic behavior when using stacks of several thousand items.

Hope that helps

"posted on superstacker thread" little tip when using these

Also: After you unstack them properly you can do say 100 combines then stop unstack them again rerun macro with out a problem. Working great!

Hmmm... I just can't get this to work. Both smith and brew macro keeps buying the merchants until I run out of room. At the end, I don't have any room to put the ingridients and it tells me that I can't buy any more because I have item on the icon... Am I supposed to use any certain type of bag in certain inventory slot??

Much appreciate your help...

Are you using a custom ui Vega? Not sure, but that may possibly be a problem. I am having a bit of a problem with the tinkering macro at the moment. It buys the materials, opens the deluxe toolbox, starts the combine, then shuts down. Have not quite figured out the problem yet though. It's getting caught on the /call combine function.

Found the problem... I was using version 5.0 because it was still working... Just that macro didnt' work with that version... I downloaded the lastest, version 5.2, and the macro runs fine....

Thank you for those who replied.

Mistletoe broke, CTD at brew barrel. 15March2007 Patch

this uses movement packs so it will be broke till they fix those structs

hmmm when i use the pottery macro it has a hard time running from Yoen Ormard to Malkidiv. Char keeps going in circles, getting stuck on stairs and going into wrong room.
I'm in 1st person view, no custom ui's, using the news files at first of this post and 7.3mq.

Also getting following error with Feltching macro

No item at 'pack9'
No item at 'pack9'
No item at 'pack9'
No item at 'pack9'
Window 'pack9' not open
common/CommonSubs.inc@210 (OldDoCombine0: /combine ${PackCode}
common/CommonSubs.inc@143 (OLDUICOMBINE):/call OldDoCombine
common/CommonSubs.inc@58 (ChooseRecipe):/call OLDUICOMBINE
fletch.mac@240 (Main):/call ChooseRecipe

Fletching skill is at 181

Try the walk instead of run button, I found out on a few of them it will catch up and by walking it eliminates that problem.

I am still deployed to Iraq. I hope someone can add some insite into the issues with these macros and keep them working.

I will be gone for atleast 6 or more months.

Sorry gang

ive been useing them all had probs at first cause i didnt read and follow but for the most part thay work without any prob as of 4-7-07

baking now ctd on start. no changes have been made to the macro

make sure you have your nonstickpan and your in the right spot i made same mistake with bakeing and fletching

yeah, i did forget about the pan... i got it now. but now it CTD when buying loaf of bread. and with the previous mq2 release, if something was missing, the mac would just end, not CTD. ive got all the same plugins loaded, and its not that i never used the ts macs before. im just doing it for another toon

i just tried the other ts macs... they all CTD when trying to buy from the merchant

Hmmm, I use a modified one for making gate potions. I haven't tried it since the patch on the 5th, so I will try it to see if I can figure out what is happening.

Couple of things.
1 I see tinkering is set for 300 but it doesn't go past the re breathers
2 there were more items added to the INI but not to the macro
3 the re breathers triv at 175 not 176 so it buys stuff to make 10 then see it is triv and starts selling it all back again.

Any chance of adding the new recipes to the macro so that we can go beyond the 175 limit?? If I knew what the abbreviations stood for I could give it a shot based on just adding more if statements to the macro.

Just reloaded zip.....can't remember what to type to start this again. Been a long time since I messed with this.
Any help would be appreciated

Well depends on which skill yoy are doing ie /mac brew or whatever skill you are doing

Reason for crash is possibly the /click that is being used.

/click is broken still if I remember correctly.

I think nadia means... How do I modify the Smithing tradeskill macro to open the forge correctly. And gratz nadia on bumping a month old thread!!!

it is the only complete set of macro for trade skill and think army too busy for modify it so i hope someone can take the job )

What I have done with the smith.mac, was add in a
/delay 1s
/beep
/beep
/delay 10s
/beep
/beep
I added this line right before /click
and removed /click so I would not CTD none stop.

bye the time I hear the 2nd beep I open up the forge manually. I would like to just add a pop up window that would pause the macro till I click run or continue. Then if I'm afk the mac wont CTD even after the BEEP.
