I run a 4 man team currently, mage, bard, nec, shm..
my question is, is there a way to make the necro dot other mobs after it's dotted one? i know it will assist my MT, which is my mage atm, but after shes cycled her spells i want her to target the next mob on xtargets and start dotting that up. is there a plugin for this?

also, is DPS in the ini file where the spells will be plugged into for auto casting? can i put a delay like a pause and have it re-cast stuff every so often?

my last question is about my MT, should my mage pet be the MT since that's what's actually tanking? or is it fine to use the mage?

thanks for the help!

one other question i had as well, i watched the Dannet video on youtube, but have a question, after i edit my INI file with the spells and stuff i want it to use, do i then have to make an in-game macro to execute it? or will MQ automatically attack/cast etc without needing a macro for DGE or DGAE etc?

Regarding your necro dotting. You didn't post in a section that would lead us to the automation you're using. Dannet questions should go in the dannet section. While it is convenient for you to data dump all your questions to a single thread all your own it's not useful when others have the same questions to search an endless flood of random question that are unorganized.

Every resource has it's own discussion. So dannet questions would be in the dannet discussion. Your question for multi-dots may qualify for a general question if you're looking for a resource that would handle that, but if you're asking about a resource you're currently using then it's best to post in that resources discussion thread.

To my knowledge - nothing handles multi-dots. Ideally your bard would mez ads, your necro would not prevent your crowd control from locking down ads. Every situation is different and it's possible that something has that option available. The CWTN Plugins focus efficiency and productivity simultaneously. So one mob is focused at a time. Switching what your MA is attacking would allow the necro to obtain a new target, but as mentioned you are then unable to CC the one that has DoTs on it, meaning you'll take damage for no reason.

It sounds like it would be ideal to hit multiple things with all the dots at the same time because then your necro is able to do damage to every mob simultaneously. You're then unable to defend against 100% of the potential damage of the ads (mez them). You group will kill 1 mob at a time faster than it would kill 2 or 3 mobs at a time provided that they all focus a single mob. Your Shaman would have to do less to keep up with the incoming damage leaving more room for offensive spells further expediting the death of each mob.

This of course doesn't account for AoE killing large quantity of mobs that are significantly lower than you, but at that point DoTing every mob sounds like it would be a waste of time and mana. In that situation the mobs wouldn't live for very long, meaning the dots would get a tick or two before the target died anyway.
