Question - New PVP P1999 Server Boxing?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if there is a way to multi-box on the the P1999 server with one cpu. They limit the IP address to one account per IP. Is there a way I can scramble/have multi IP's running from one CPU so I can box on the PVP server. Having 1 Character is just to boring for me.

Any help here would be cool.

Its not bypassing the ip check you have to worry about, its the dam tattle tellers in P1999. Even you duo with a online friend, if you are together in a eq spot and someone sees you they automatically report you.

i multiboxed on P99 with VMware and VPN.
Just pick good spots, better to pick non common and bad exp spots and farm, so ppl dont report you.

I had my bard running and kiteing with macro and MQ2 and had 2 of my other chars just sitting and buffing and healing when needed and hideing (dark elfs) so no one did see it was more there and afk farmed like that, never got reported.
Just pick good spots and only AFK farm on non peak hours

I have a VM set up with p199, i have tor running, i have proxifier running and Chrome web browser reports a different IP that my normal instance. However, i'm still getting a temp ban when i try to log in to a 2nd station account.

f- it. i just bought an account with swissvpn ($10 US) and connect through that.

Using my main connection for 1 account and phone internet for the other.

But then again not everyone got access to high speed 3/4g.

IF you're doing it from one PC, the odds of getting caught are much higher. Their .dll file collects data about your system as it pertains to running the game which will likely give you away if they look into you at all.

Just some food for thought.

From personal experience, I would say running 2 processes of eqgame.exe at the same time to box is a extremely bad idea. I am fairly certain they have a way to tell when someone has 2 processes open and logged INTO world at the same time. However using VMware is a different story, and much better to box with(preferably with a VPN so 2 different IPs). Personally I gave up vmware boxing in favor of using multi computer/laptop setups using a wireless mouse/keyboard that is stacked just 3 inches on my desk above my keyboard/mouse pull out tray. That way if a GM or someone does come poking around, you have the ability to press the movement keys and turn and look around on both characters at once.

Using VMware, you are only able to tab into one character at a time because you always have one window overlapping another etc so its easy for a GM to do a 'boxing test' and make you move 2 chars at once to prove it(which you can easily do with the double computer or double laptop setup with keyboards/mice next to each other as I mentioned. For the most part I have seen GM's don't really care about boxing unless you go super crazy, and are just super blatant and brag to everyone about it.
