Need IRC help (1 Viewer)

I am using a mac that needs this info

/call irc_init <server> <channel> <port>

I believe this is what I need replace the <***> with

/call irc_init irc.lavishsoft.com #IamBigDaddy 6667

This is not working for me, can someone specify a server,channel and port I can try with mIRC first and actually chat with someone. Then I will put the info into the mac to see if I can see that info in the channel.

I imagine that's how it will look. Might need a # before redguides.

When you say a mac needs this info, do you mean someone added macro code to handle connecting to IRC? or are you trying to manually connect and adding the command into the macro?

Someone added the code to their macro. My problem was mainly that I needed to load mq2irc. Once I did that everything else fell into place. Thx for the responses
