Problem - Necro spell not casting

For some reason, Mind Excoriation is not being cast. I have it memmed, did not make a typo. Here is the ini:

DPSOn=2
DPSCOn=1
DPSSize=23
DPSSkip=5
DPSInterval=1
DPS1=Mind Excoriation|95

I skipped the rest. If you want it I'll post it. But why isn't it casting? All the other necro spells are.

KA's mana tap cast code runs a check to see if the target is a caster. kaen mentions here how to edit that out of your version of KA.

Interesting. I thought virtually everything had mana now. I mean, the sarnaks I'm fighting are wizards. The enchanter is using her mana theft spell.

If you arent using conditionals, set to 0.

If that doesnt help, I would try

DPS1=Mind Excoriation|95|debuffall|always

Yeah it is specifically a problem with this spell. KA thinks it requires the target to have mana like some enchanter mana taps do, so does the target=caster check before casting. The thread I linked above is about this necro spell too. We tried quite a few things and kaen's mod code was the fix. kaen has an edited version of KA available in that thread if you wanted to try it on your necro without modding your actual KA copy.

See above, boss. I changed my ini to Frimp's recommendation and it worked. I am currently using beta 9 of KA11.

Yeah Frimp's solution means everyone gets hit with it now, even if they are a warrior.

Maskoi- Is there a way to add an option for something like debuffcast? so we could do like this: DPS1=Mind Excoriation|95|debuffcast|always

or

add a condition instead of always, but for mana, like this: DPS1=Mind Excoriation|95|debuffall|mana

I like the 2nd one better imo.

maskoi just needs to fix kiss to not check for caster mobs. that dont work too well, and all mana drain or tap seplls work on anyu mob type now.
