Current Compile Notes
Our temp compile settings match MQ2 Source Code so current compile is correct.​
  • MQ2OCFarTrade - broken by recent patch
  • MQ2DoCrack.ini - Thank you Czarman
  • MQ2AnyTaunt - Added to compile. Gives any class taunt skill of 166.
    Command: /taunt - requires MQ2Addicts. Thank you Abyss
  • MQ2RWarp - /warp item command added. Warps you to selected item from /itemtarget
  • MQ2FippyZone.ini - Will now zone from East Freeport to Butcher Block and back.
    WARNING - You will visibly warp to NPC Teleporters in E Freeport, Ocean Of Tears or Butcherblock

A few changes:
MQ2Addicts is required if you're going to run our packet hacks in order to use the following plugins. MQ2AASpend, MQ2Ghost, MQ2IstantMem, MQ2OcFarTrade, MQ2Pax, MQ2Piggyzone, MQ2RWarp, MQ2Supercast, MQ2ZoneLock

It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in the compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2Addicts in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.


MQ2DoCrack.ini is included. Thanks Czarman!

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2ADDICTS is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2Addicts) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

Instructions:

  1. Download the zip at the bottom of this post
  2. Unzip to a folder of your choice
  3. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
  4. Run EverQuest.exe
  5. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
  6. Refer back to this post for any syntax and plugin descriptions you need

This was very helpful while I was out trying to get some hunter updates with the double spawns going on. Thanks a bunch Maskoi! :)
 
Amazing but true! Our prerelease MQ2 settings matched up with the released MQ2 20110514 source code so just use the NA Official MQ2-20110514 TEMP Release.zip file.
 
seems mq2speed, anything above /speed 1 makes you go LD. Tried 1.3 first, then 1.1, but then ran /speed 1 for the next couple hours and never had another issue.
 
i have one computer mq2 dont work icon are in tray bar launch correctly but i launch eq and mq2 dont appear in eq ; like mq2 not see eq any suggestion ?
 
if your running vista or windows 7 make sure you are running mq2 as administrator that sounds like your problem :) To run as admin right click on mq2.exe file then choose run as admin.

If your running vista or windows 7 try this.

1. Find Macroquest2.exe in your folder
2. Right click on it and select properties
3. Click on the Compatibility Tab
4. Check - Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2/3
5. Check - Run this program as an administrator
6. Click OK
