Problem - My X button pulls out my bow when I am trying to melee

Sometimes I run MQ even when I am playing one character so I can track mobs and what not. The problem I am having is, my x button is my button mash key. When I melee, my character pulls out his bow, and often. It gets really annoying have to reset back to his melee weapons. Any thoughts why? And don't say, "just switch your button mash to another button," please. Thank you.

check you dont have a bandolier set for range and set to your x key.

Probably not what you want but you should have mq2 handle the things you mash

you have your ranged attack or bandolier hot keyed to x edit it in ur options tab in game.

I don't have my bandolier or ranged tied to my x button. This only happens when I run MQ. When I raid, I never use MQ. So, that's not the problem. Guess I'll change my mash button
