MQ2Rezzy (Return to Resurrect without being rezzed)

How to you turn a .dll into a plugin? Just placing it in the proper folder and doing mkplugin mq2rezzy isn't working and I can't figure out the next proper step.

the DLL is the plugin. Just put it in your MQ2 folder and when you're in EQ, type:

/plugin mq2rezzy

Saved my raid once. I don't plan on doing it again, as it would be noticed. Camping a priest or a necro staying FD would have been just as effective, so it's not really that big of a cheat. It just saved us another hour of getting to that point again.

This and /keypress instant_camp remain my two favorite uses of MQ2

Anyone know if there's a way to do this without MQ2? I'm thinking this may be something like the bug for allowing you to re-use MGB.

Only one I know of is helping raid recovers. If you pop MGB then don't cast a spell that uses it the reuse timer is still going. So if you waited long enough you could do back to back MGBs

The only mgb bug i know of is pop mgb in the GH when you go afk there. Since no timers count down there it lets you do 2 MGBs at a time. So when you come back in an hour+ you cast the first spell (Hand of tenacity) then hit the mgb button again and cast symbol. works good when you meet in guild hall.

If you Zone, it will mess it up. I've used this before, I'll go sit in the zone we are going to raid, click MGB, then go AFK. come back, anc MGB 2 buffs in a row.

If you click MGB, then have to zone before using it, Start to cast a Group Buff, then Duck out of it, it will reset your MGB.

You must not have the plugin loaded then. Even if it was nerfed if you did /rezzme with the plugin loaded it wouldn't say invalid command.

Are you a bard by any chance, Zimmer? Entire time I've used mq2 my bard crashes to desktop whenever I get a rez. I think I finally had it narrowed down to mq2bardswap trying to do things when it shouldn't when I started my current... ahem... break.

i use it more often then not just to leave corpses in zones that I have to use allzone to get to. that way I can just allzone my cleric there and rez the other 11 characters...

I run 3 Bards on different serves and Yes I die .... I run Bardswap and Bardswap melee all the time and never have had a CTD with them I also run Do Twist and few others ... if you want to send me your list I will compare to mine and see what ones you run I don't .... I have also use Rezzme a few times in the last couple days .... the terrible 30's and have not had an issue other then rezzing back before mobs broke zone.

nice exploit with this plug is that is you get a reg rezz while at respawn window, don't click normal respawn do /rezzme, and you will get your exp back without Rezz effects allowing you to instantly start up your OOC mana regen

Wait, so what you are saying is if you die, get a rez while in the hovering mode, accept the rez, then do a /rezzme instead of selecting the respawn you can get the benefits of the rez without rez effects?

@Thez: From the sounds of it, svarina isn't saying that /rezzme will give any experience back, just that there is a way around the rez effects if used this way; at least thats how I read it.

I'll give it a shot once, just to see. If I don't get the exp from the first rez, I'm sure I can just rez myself again.

2 lines of code does the same:
/notify RespawnWnd RW_OptionsList listselect 2
/notify RespawnWnd RW_SelectButton leftmouseup

Voila! Instant respawn at corpse

I tried using this plugin tonight in Demiplane, looked like it worked, but then it booted me to character select. When I zoned back into the game, I was at my bind point. Not sure if this has been nerfed for anything, maybe some of teh constructs have changed.
