Question - MQ2radar plugin available?

I was dredging through mmobugs old postings and came across mq2radar.
Looks neat. I vaguely remember using it, or something similar a LONG time ago.
Any possibility of a comeback? I would use it.

mq2radar has been borked for quite a while we dropped it from the compile a few years ago.

What's the advantage to it over the map?
