Some time ago I started having issues with my cleric and mq2nav. Sometimes it works, many times it doesn't. Rest of group standing in same spot and I tell it come to me, or right click something in find, and the rest of the group takes off, the cleric says it can't do it. With come to me, and afollow it will report starting nav (or whatever) move a few inches, then the msg, stopping navigation.

I even tried a complete reinstall and redownloading mesh files.

Same problem.

Oddly enough, unloading mq2nav and reloading for the cleric fixes it for a bit but then it will start in again. This seems odd to me because many of the refusal to nav's begin shortly after loading everyone up for the first time of the day. I run laptops, so I shut them down at night so there shouldn't be anything resident in memory.

Recently I leveled up a second cleric, and he has the same issue. The only thing that's the same between them is the Ini I use for KA. I just copied it over and made some slight alterations for the new cleric based on gear.

Can a KA ini break navigation?

I'm using sic's cleric Ini. If it's possible, what setting would be causing it?

I had this issue awhile ago and someone mentioned mq2dannet + eqbcs clashing and causing it. Unloading mq2dannet fixed it for me, if you're using ihcmercs they load mq2dannet on start.

you will want to pause any macros you are running before you try and nav around, otherwise if kiss wants to buff or heal it will stop and try and do it (any of my casters will do it if not paused)

Are they buffing? I know some other people have had issues with their cleric entering the KA Buff phase, trying to move their group and the cleric keeps stopping to try to cast buffs. Even if you invis the cleric, sometimes the cleric is halfway into a buff check and will try to complete that buff cycle before noticing they are invis.

Try adding a macro pause to your stuff. "/mqp" or "/bcaa //mqp on" or "/bcaa //mqp off" or the dannet equivalent broadcast.

I have two move keys. Manual move, which just pauses, stops twist, etc, and one that also adds mount off, used for things like smoke trials because moving on a mount there can cause all sorts of issues.

I also hit one or the other and wait for a few seconds, then I hit group invis, then move.

Shit. missed his post, only saw from sic and trader.

Probably. I had it unloaded, because it was crashing when zoning. But I think the reinstall happened since then.

Why would it only cause it on the clerics though?

I don't use IHCmercs because of the dannet thing. I tried it out, and it seemed pretty good and wanted to tweak it and see how it did because lots of people seem to like it, but then it was converted to dannet and that's just too much work to configure between multiple PCs. I've only gotten somewhat moderately user friendly with eqbc.
