MQ2Melee usage

I am looking for help utilizing the MQ2Melee plugin, the only problem I am having is I want attack to be turned on automatically when a mob hits me, is this even possible with just using this plugin?

I have never tried adding an assist or attack on downshit/holyshit. Mostly because it will cycle through the entire set of flags continuously.
