Question - MQ2Melee - Rogue not backstabing from the front

My Rogue is not backstabbing unless it's behind the mob, even though you can backstab from the front. yes, there is a damage penalty associated with this, but it's still a loss of DPS.

Is there something I need to switch on?

Are you using KA or MQ2Melee or both?

I wish my rogue wouldn't try to backstab from the front! If there is a setting in MQ2Melee to only BS from the back, I'd love to know about it!

I haven't played around with the rogue (disclaimer).

May not be up to date but MQ2Melee can be found here on the Mothership.

It's 'possible' that backstab works but perhaps it is using Assassinate, which should be able to be turned off via:

/melee assassinate=0

However, with a brief glance through MQ2Melee it doesn't look like it has been updated to be able to backstab from the front as I see no indication of it.

I did some testing as I was having the same problem and indeed, there is no way that I see to get MQ2Melee to BS from the front, whether assassinate is enabled or disabled. In the old days, the backstab setting wasn't on or off but rather an angle, but that is not the case anymore.
